NEXT IN MY CRIMINAL MINDS TRIP DIARY: SHEMAR MOORE JOINS US FOR LUNCH.

I did not know who Shemar Moore was before watching him on Criminal Minds. Regular readers of this blog already know that I have been amazed at his incredible talent. Writing this travel diary has been easy until now and I knew immediately after meeting Shemar that writing about him was going to be my hardest task. I am not a writer and I have so much to say about Shemar. For tonight I will simply leave it at this: The first word that comes to my mind when I look back on meeting Shemar is Grace. There is a true aura of Grace that resonates from this man. You see it in his eyes, feel it in his hugs, hear it when he talks about his past and his future, watch it when he jokes around with his castmates, and you see it when you watch him work. So today we are going to see what happens when Shemar Moore joins me, Matthew Gray Gubler and A.J. Cook for lunch. :)

You may not believe that you are a writer, but I happen to think you are quite eloquent and thoughtful with with words! That's one of the reasons I enjoy reading your posts; it's not rabid fangirl gibberish.

((deleted the first post because some words were randomly repeating themselves))

I can validate the fact that Shemar is a very cool guy. I saw the way he jokes around with the crew. He just seems like the kind of person you would hang out with and laugh all day. I like to think I'm like that too. That's how I want to be at the least!

I am so happy that the trash about him we read in other groups is just that...trash. He is such a fine actor and so good looking. It is nice to have the record straight that he is a nice man as well.

You posted a picture of him with his mom awhile back and I thought then that he looked like a man of quality. He can sure act and his looks are not even a question mark. The man has some serious game in that department.

Yeah we get some Shemar. I am now very happy.

I think you're doing *fine.*

I am fascinated to read your thoughts and observations on Shemar because as someone else stated previously there is a ton of negative information on the web about him.

I'm so glad that I've missed out on all of that negativity. Isn't there enough awful news in the world; must we MAKE MORE UP?

Anyway, I'm looking forward to hearing all about it. And I'm seriously thinking about dragging my Mom to the Colden Center on the 17th of March.

:)

What? You introduce Shemar's opening, and you put no intro pictures up? Oh, you torturous, torturous gal. ;-)

From what I've seen of him in interviews/clips, he seems to me exactly what you have described. I'm super happy to know that is the case.

Can't wait to hear of your fun!

Please show us the pictures of Shemar. I am so excited to see them. He will always be Malcolm to me.

I love him. He is perfect as Derek Morgan.

What a lovely way to describe him, Jill. I think you have a wonderful way with words.

I always thought he seemed like he would be fun to meet. He is so outgoing.

Why is it so easy for people to forget that he is a single man who has the right to kick back from time to time. The reason I love this blog is you are always straight to the meat on the bone. If you do not like something you are not shy to say it but you are realistic and fair when you post. I really love Shemar and I am sorry but his looks are a big part of it but I also have followed his career for a long time and respect his work. Thank you for not falling into the gutter but telling the truth about him.

Shemar has had a great career so far. He slams as Derek Morgan on the show. Quality.

Jill, not a writer? That is so untrue! You have a great way of telling your story concisely but very descriptively.

Although I thoroughly enjoy Derek Morgan on the show, I've known little about Shemar as an actor. I look forward to hearing more about him. And more pics, of course!

I wonder if Shemar has as much crap on his desk at home as Morgan does on the set! I wonder what all that is? Old scripts? Scary fan letters? Copies of "Running After and Jumping on Criminals" Quarterly?

Anonymous said...

I wonder if Shemar has anything personal on Morgan's desk like anonymous said earlier. That would be really cool.

I would die if I found myself at the table sittin with them three.

Yeah, I do believe your words...
and once again a good picture choice, I think.

Shemar - Grace? Interpretting that notion literaly, I'd say he had a heck of a lot of "grace" on the dance floor during Team's Night Out. LOL

Hey, CriminalMindsFan here,
1. You are a writer, and a great one I might add.
2. I love Shemar's acting and dimeanor.
3. It is so nice to here he is as graceful offscreen as onscreen.
:)

Jill, you do an awesome job writing! I'd be interested in knowing what other things Shemar has been in because he is very talented!

Anonymous said...

I would be at a total loss of words about meeting him as well!

Anonymous said...

I have seen everything he has been in including Y & R. He has always been a great actor.

Anonymous said...

I have heard him described many ways but never grace. I like that. I like that a lot.

Anonymous said...

He's terrific in CM. I haven't seen him in anything else, but then we don't get to see a lot of programmes screened in the US.

I would have fainted

I love how this whole thing progresses like a little story. it's so fun.

I envy that you got to meet all these wonderful people, but I'm happy that you got such a wonderful story to share with all of us.
