I received this email response to my post on the blog thanking Mr. Bernero (Executive Producer of Criminal Minds) for allowing me to visit the set last week.

No need to thank me. You're a special person and we were all honored you took the time to visit. In fact, it is incredibly touching (more than any of you will ever know) that you, along with all your members, take the time to talk about our show at all. Making a show is an incredibly difficult task, but it is made easier knowing that fans like you all exist.

You have always written so highly of him and then you got to meet him. I am so glad that he did not disappoint you. The note is very sweet and that he included us all makes me want to cry.
It's our honor to be presented with this amazing show. The whole cast and crew deserve all the squeeing and fangirling we can give them :)
If you talk to Mr. Bernero again, please thank him for us.

I love him so much for making such a great show. But he is right, you are an awesome and amazing person and I am so greatful for your dedication to the show, that if you weren't around I'd never know what was going on!

I'm with Sindee, I can't find the words! Mr. Bernero is definitely a lot nicer than in those hilarious documentaries. We appreciate all the hard work he and the rest of the cast and crew and CBS do and its great to know that they appreciate us back as well!

I agree so much with Allie. I am so happy these people lived up and exceeded your high expectations. I am so impressed that he took the time to acknowledge you and us. Everyday when I come to this blog I find more reasons to love this show. I realize I have only been watching the show since the Super Bowl episode but I have taken the time to read your whole blog. I feel like I am now part of a Criminal Minds family. Thank you very much for that. Now I have my whole family watching the show.

Just kidding. They seem like a great group, and it seems that EB sets that example from his place at the top.
How nice of Mr. Bernero to respond! It makes love everyone involved with the show even more knowing they truly appreciate the fans!
I am sure everyone agrees that the work involved with the show is evident in the final product.
It is a pleasure to watch and support people who work at their craft, instead of just "being celebrities".

Jill, I haven't commented on this blog before and have only been a die-hard CM fan for about a month and a half (though it seems longer), but this seems like the perfect opportunity to thank you for the work you put into this blog! Even though it's clearly a labor of love it's still labor, and as someone who's been a fan of many different shows with impressive fandoms of their own I can clearly see the work that goes into it.
And as for Mr. Bernero, it's wonderful to be thanked for being a fan but we're all here because of their hard work. Discussing and criticizing a project is easy, creating one from the ground up is a hell of a lot more work!
He is a class act and his show is a class act.

Ed Bernero is truly a class act. It's so nice to be a fan of a show where we KNOW TPTB and the cast DO care about their fans and truly appreciate them. And I haven't experienced that since my very first fandom (The Sentinel), 10 years ago. (*yikes* It's been that long?)It's a really nice feeling.
I'm more active in CM fandom than I have been in any fandom since TS; and it's really good to know that my faith in this show (and all the people who work so hard to create the magic for us in every episode) is not misplaced. And I cannot thank them enough for that.

I'ts amazing! Of course we DO care for them, but it's crazy to think THEY care for us! There is a logic, though, after all they arrived where they are because there are many or US who are watching them!!!!At the same time if they won't be so incredibly good we wouldn't care and we wouldn't watch, so....they wouldn't have arrived where they are....

The Bible speaks of leading by example and it would seem Mr. Bernero is a man of virtue and value. I did not realize that people like this existed in Hollywood. Thank you for reminding me that prejudging people is also spoken about.
