CRIMINAL MINDS: TIME FOR LUNCH & A SURPRISE.
Criminal Minds: In order to make my future posts easier I will be calling my CBS benefactor "A" from now on. "A" and I decided that it was time to eat so we headed back over to Craft Service. The room looks like an airport hanger it is so large. Long cafeteria tables are lined up one after another and row after row. Food is served on the set all day. Head Chef Hanna Mourad makes sure that everyone is very well fed. You walk around the buffet putting your food on paper plates and then grab a drink in your plastic cup and sit down on card chairs. The food is wonderful. Everyone from office personnel to the cast eats there. Background people sit and wait for their scenes in this room. It is full of people coming and going.
"A" and I grabbed some food and sat down to eat. As we were sitting there beginning to eat a HUGE celebrity walked into the room with Ed Bernero. I asked "A" if she was seeing who I was seeing and she laughed at me just a bit and quickly told me that I could not meet him. I was in shock. Not meet him? "A" explained to me that since he was in a meeting with Mr. Bernero we could not disturb him. I watched as this celebrity lifted up a paper plate, filled it with food and walked back into the room. He then proceeded to sit at the table in back of me with Mr. Bernero. He was directly in back of me. I could have touched him without ever leaving my chair. I tried to continue eating but finally gave up. I asked "A" one more time if I could not please just say hello since he was sitting so close and I could hear every word he was saying but again she had to say no. I understand why I couldn't meet him and I hope that you can understand why I can't even name him but believe me when I say to you......FAMOUS FAMOUS CELEBRITY. CBS trusted me to use discretion in my posts and I am always good to my word so I will keep my mouth shut.
As they left "A" went to her auto to retrieve the boxes containing all the presents from our group for the stars. My depression did not last long because in walked Matthew Gray Gubler asking if he could sit with us to eat his lunch. My wonderful morning just got a whole lot better. :)
