I AM BACK FROM THE SET OF CRIMINAL MINDS

I have so many people to thank and so many pictures and stories to share with everyone about my two days on the set of Criminal Minds. There is no way to accomplish it all tonight but I did want to post a few words tonight. Thank you to Stacy for babysitting the blog.

I owe a huge debt of gratitude to CBS for their wonderful invitation and for providing me with a truly once in a lifetime experience. I would like to give my heartfelt thanks to Ed Bernero for not only allowing me to visit but for going out of his way to make sure that I knew I was welcome on the set. Leadership, excellence and humanity start at the top and flow down within this production company and Mr. Bernero's warmth and professionalism sets the bar of excellence that I was fortunate enough to witness. I sit in awe of everyone that I met while on the set. I look forward to sharing with you over the next few weeks all of my experiences and a glimpse of the wonderful people I met. Believe me when I say that the work that these professionals do to deliver Criminal Minds to us week after week is overwhelming difficult. I hope that I was able to adequately express my admiration and thanks to all the office personnel, hairdressers, grips, writers, producers, set designers, etc. and to the stars themselves. Criminal Minds is a great show because these people are all great professionals. :)

I am so excited for you. I can't wait to hear about every little detail. I feel as though you were there for all of us and I am so excited to read about your experiences and thoughts. Did you meet Mandy? I know how much you admire him. Did you sneak Gube back in your suitcase? Did you tell them all how much we love them? Spill the beans kiddo.

Welcome back, Jill.

It was my pleasure to babysit the blog for you. I have to say everyone was very well behaved! *G*

And I didn't turn it into a TG shrine, I just built a little altar.

I look forward to reading your stories and seeing the pics! I'm so glad you had a great time there!

If I find out that you did not give MGG kisses for me I am going to be crushed. And also TG, SM and MP. Hell I hope you kissed them all for me. I am so damn happy for you and so looking forward to hearing every detail. CBS rocks the house for doing this for all of us.

Welcome back!

It was quiet here without you.

So glad you had fun. Sleep a few hours, quit your job and start posting all about it!

What was MGG really like? Is Kirsten as funny in person as she seems to be? Is Shemar as sexy in person as he is on the screen? Did you drop dead when you met Mandy? Did you tell the writers we love them? What did you think of Paget and A.J.? Did you just die when you met Thomas Gibson? What was your favorite part?

Glad you got back home safely and that you had such a great time! Can't wait to hear all the details!

Hey everyone. Thanks to Jill, I am working on the set of Criminal Minds for 2 straight days. I even saw Jill again on the set yesterday morning before she flew out of LA.

Ok, I'm not trying to PR my own blog here (really, I'm not), but of course I will be writing about my experience meeting Jill and about my time on the set of Criminal Minds. I'll post those on my blog gradually over the weekend!!

Glad you had a safe trip to and from LA Jill. I wish you could have stayed longer!

Okay Jill you have to tell us if Shemar Moore is as gorgeous in person as he is on tv, and did you get a big hug for me? Whew! I can't wait to hear about all your experiences. What a wonderful opportunity to get to see all of this in person.

Welcome back! I don't have to hope you enjoyed your trip, I'm sure it was a dream come true to do as you did.

I cannot wait to be covered in a gazillion pictures when you get time to put them all up. Because you know, you'd BETTER share every shot you've gotten with us. ;-)

I can't wait to hear of your stories and everything else. Get some rest after your super-fun trip and can't wait to see what you have to share!

Welcome back Jill, cant wait to hear all the stories you have to share.

Welcome back. I bet it made you want to cry to leave Criminal Minds world. I would ask to never leave!

Anonymous said...

They would have had to kick me off of the set. I would not have wanted to leave. Oh my what a great op.

I would never know what to say to the celebs. How do you express your devotion to them? I would be unable. Here in Germany we are behind in the shows than from the US but we love it so much. I would not know whatever to say. Lucky for us you went instead. Tell us all please

Hey Jill! I know you had a great time but I'm so glad you're back! I can't wait to hear all about it and see all the pics!
Stacy did a great job with the blog while you were away too.
I agree with Erika, I would probably be speechless half the time before I finally figured out what to say to them! lol

Welcome back Jill!

I can't wait to hear all the stories and see the pictuers. I am sure you had the time of your life.

Anonymous said...

You so f-in deserve this. You do so much for all of us and for the show. I hope they treated you like a queen.

Anonymous said...

I am so happy to read that you were not disappointed. That means these people are of the quality we hoped they were and that makes the show even more sweet!

Anonymous said...

As a new viewer of the show I gotta tell you that this really makes an impression with me. How awesome for them to do this for the fans and how awesome of you to share it with the rest of us. I am glad that you are back. I was worried to comment while you were gone because I am so new nobody knows me yet.

Glad that you had a safe trip. Now spill all the beans.

Jill, they should do a show about blog owners being killed, and Gideon has to take you into protective custody, since you clearly have the best blog of all! Of course, the best place to keep you safe will be his secret cabin.

Hey, you didn't take any heads in those boxes, did you?!

Welcome home to our special blog master. I am so truly excited about your trip. A tad jealous but I will get over it very quickly if you post pics of my favorite actor!

I am so happy, giddy really, that the powers-that-be at CBS recognized this blog for the special place that it is. You people know your stuff and it shows in every post that you pay attention and that you respect the work these folks do. You must be the best bunch of fans in the world and this is such a unique place to learn more about this amazing show. It's obvious from the quality of the writing, acting, and production values that this is a top notch show, and I'm thrilled to learn that it actually is what it appears to be. Good television, like quality literature, fine art, and classical music, should tease the mind and resonate with the audience. It's such a godsend to have this place to talk over and listen to the opinions that are formed by watching the show.

Thank you everyone for the warm welcome back to blogdom. I really had such a wonderful time but I am still tired. My body is not sure if it is on LA or Memphis time or CM time. All I know is that if I am this tired the actors must just be falling over. A harder working group of people does not exist on this planet. They are amazing!

This is just so unbelieveable and just so cool.

Ooh Jan! What a great idea. I am sure that Jill would love to be taken into "protective custody" by Gideon at his cabin . . . dinner and dancing come to mind. Sigh.

sounds like the people who make this show are just as amazing as I imagine. again...I envy you.
