Criminal Minds: I received a phone call today from Simon Mirren, Co-Executive Producer of Criminal Minds, who wanted me to let everyone know that he, and the rest of the cast and crew, love our Criminal Minds website and blog. He wanted everyone to know how much they all appreciate our devotion to the show and the care and support we have given to them and the show. He is a charming man with the sweetest accent you have ever heard. So "Best Wishes and Thank You" from Simon Mirren and to Simon Mirren: Feel free to call me anytime. You made my day. Thank you for that and everything you do to help produce the best tv show on the air.

I would have fainted. You must be made of steel. I just would have fainted. I love the show and I am constantly amazed at the appreciation they have for us.
Classy show with classy people running it. Doesn't get much better than that. Now if he would take a moment and clarify the Reid drug issue I would be thrilled!

There are so many reasons to love the show and the fact that the people who are making it are such nice people is just another great reason.
It is nice to feel the love we give to the show coming back to us. I have been slightly annoyed lately but since you don't want it discussed on the blog I am keeping it to myself. This went a long way to making me feel much better. It was a stand up thing for him to do and I personally appreciate it.

I have to agree with everyone who has already posted. Class Act for calling you and I know you are modest but you deserve it. Nobody does more to promote positively promote the show than you do.
Just when I think I can't love these people any more than I already do they turn around and do something this nice. First Kirsten and then Gina and Scott and now Simon Mirren. Very nice. Very deserved and very classy. I hope you told him that we love the show!
I agree with Lee. I love Simon Mirren. Too bad you couldn't keep him on the phone long enough to ask him a bunch of questions for us. Is that something we might be able to arrange in the future or is that pushing our luck????

BTW, long ago Quentin and I noted the similarity between Helen Mirren and the actress who played in Riding the lightening (Storm Mirren?) and the fact that Simon Mirren had the same last name.... We were shot down at the time. Nyah nyah.
