Criminal Minds: Just for fun. Edward Allen Bernero, Exec. Producer of Criminal Minds, offers you the chance to write a script for Criminal Minds. What would your story be? Please keep in mind that Criminal Minds is not X-rated. lol. :)

Well, one idea is this:

An UnSub is at large in the DC-area, abducting mothers and young children, keeping them for 24 hours, raping the mothers repeatedly before shooting the children and strangling the mothers. While the team races to find the UnSub, Haley and Jack go missing...

The BAU takes a few days off. The ladies, Garcia, Emily and JJ, go clubbing and are kidnapped. The male members of the BAU have to find them following the clues the ladies cleverly manage to leave for them.

Reid's mom escapes the Mental Institution and the team looks for her. They need to get inside her mind so Reid has to tell them everything about his childhood in hopes it will help them find her. That way we get all his backstory while watching them profile her.

This idea has been said many times before but I really like it. I would write a script that had them spending the whole day in the office. Showing what an office day is like for them. Reviewing cases, doing paperwork, having lunch together, talking about their last case. Things like that. I think it would be nice to see what happens when they are not in hot pursuit of an unsub.

A white collar crime might be a nice change of pace. I'm not sure what but maybe tainted products showing up in retail stores and the team has to profile the company execs to see who is responsible and where all the products have been distributed so they can pull them off the shelves and save lifes.

I would focus heavily on Garcia since her computer would be vital in digging up records and bios.

Reid and J.J. go out for an innocent drink after work. They have too much to drink and the next thing you know it is morning and they wake up in the same bed. Clothes still on!

They are really awkward with each other the whole day and Reid goes to Morgan for advice. I think it could be really funny.

Garcia and Reid are out together lets say lunch or coffee when something happens and they are held up....lets say hostage problem...ohh maybe an bank robbery gone wrong... And the team has to profile the person holding the place and get them to realaise the hostages. And they are able to get them all out except Reid and Garcia. And the team now has to do a rescue thing. I don't know but I love Reid and Garcia and would love to see them interact more with each other. Personally I love the idea of those two becoming an item.

The BAU and CSI teams have a crossover episodes. Basically Reid goes home to Las Vegas to visit his mom. The unsub is killing random people and crossing county and state lines which gets the BAU team involved. Only thing is that the the unsub is currently targeting victims in the Las Vegas area and the victims aren't all that random. Can they find out that their is a six degree of separation between all the victims and now the unsub may target somebody on either the CSI or BAU team? Remember, each victim is connected by six degrees of separation even though they may or may not live in the area.

I really liked the episode they did that mirrored Jack the Ripper. I would find some old crime from centuries ago and modernize it and that would be my episode.

We see them trough the eyes of a small town sherif that as called them because of strange murders resembling those in a Dracula novel. We hear his thought and considerations about the team, how strange their method seems to him.

Nathan Harris from "Sex, Birth, and Death" escapes from his hospital and goes after the BAU, Reid and Garcia in particular, for preventing him from committing suicide.

The team gets sent on a case...not sure of the case exactly. Maybe a small town that has a series of rapes and murders that have the markings of witchcraft. That's not the important part. The key is that somewhere along the line they run into Reid's father. Maybe he's even a suspect (or the father of the suspect (Reid's half brother)). Particularly with Gideon gone now, I would love to see how Reid reacts to seeing his father and William would react to the team (I could just see Morgan wanting to kick his butt...)

Here is an idea:

The unsub is killing off witnesses in the Witness Protection Program leaving no evidence except after the fifth killing a partial DNA is found - Garica does her analysis - Surprise - It is link to Morgan - The Shocker - the BAU discovers it is Morgan's father - Is he the unsub or the next victim?

I actually wrote one, just to see if I could:
There's a rapist stalking a small-town college, Reid is able to spot the pattern in his attacks and Hotch and (I wrote it before Mandy left) Gideon decide their only chance is to set up a sting. The rapist is choosing his victims at criminal justice lectures and Hotch and Gideon nudge (read force) Reid to substitute for the scheduled speaker (part of the BAU motto is instruct and he lectured at Georgetown, SBD, but I see him trying like hell to avoid it). Later Hotch tricks JJ into agreeing to be the bait (her first time undercover.)
Episode bonus Reid's research materials are on his computer at home, so we get a thorough look at his apartment when Garcia snoops through it before e-mailing his files to him.

Morgan father is dead. Not unless the man he knew as his father was not his father.

I would like to see a episode that is less gross and more focus on the behavior and where it evolved from. Like a guy who was abused goes out and take revenge in a non-violence way. But nonetheless, the crime is a felony and what he's done can only be solved by the BAU.

I'm actually writing one now.
Hotch brings Haley's niece to meet the profilers. Her and Uncle Arron have always gotten along well even in the face of her aunt and uncle's rocky situation. She is studying criminology at the University of Maryland and hopes to become a profiler one day. Her and Reid develop a thing, made complicated by her connection to Hotch. Then a rash of rapes and murder start to happen in DC and Arron's niece seems to know a little much about it. When she goes missing they have to find both her and the unsub before it's to late. The only way to find them, is to find out what she was hiding and why.

The BAU faces one of there most terrifying cases, an UnSub who not only is on a killing spree and will not stop, but he is mimicking the signatures of famous serial killers through history! The lipstick killer, Jack the Ripper, Thr Hillside strangler, ect... but mocking the team at the scene of the crime by leaving notes saying why he is a better killer than anyone was before. This making it very difficult for the team to profile because he copies others signitures! The team must try to figure out who he will copy next....before its to late....!

Go team go!!!!

Everyone has such great ideas. Here is mine.

How about a crossover with CSI. I think it would be such a great thing. CSI is big on the forensics and CM is big with the profiling. I'm not sure what the story could be but I would love for someone to come up with one.

Kirsten loves animals so lets do an episode in her honor.

Animals from the Bronz Zoo are being stolen. The team heads to NY to try to find out who is taking the animals, what they are doing with them and why.

I'd love to write one where the team is called in to try to prevent a high school mass murder before it happens. There are rumors, but no one can figure out who the dangerous ones are, or even if the threat is real. When one student is killed, they call in BAU to find out if it's the beginning of something bigger, a hate crime, or just something personal.

The twist is that there's already an undercover team in place, a school violence team, with agents undercover as students, who between trying to sort out the case get Reid to do their homework for them.

And then, since we'd get totally flamed for this ep anyhow, I'd make the unsubs the assistant principal and a teacher -- not a troubled student.

My ep would start out with the Hotchners signing their divorce papers. (It's that or I kill Haley. *EG*)

I'd write something that takes place in Hotch's hometown--we get to meet his mother (as far as we know, she's still alive) because he can't be in his hometown and not visit with her. I'd work his back story in as a parallel with the case, which they so often do. Maybe something to do with abused kids?

Hmm...wonder if there's someway I could work a Hotch/Reid hug into the episode...:D

Excellent question.

If I were going to write a script for Criminal Minds, I would want it to coincide with one of the actors leaving and I would want that to stay under wraps as long as possible.

That person would be the unsub and they would also still be involved in solving the case. The audience would somehow know it was one of them, but the story would keep them guessing until the very end and in the end the unsub/team member would have to be brought down by someone on the team.

It might even have to be a 2-parter to really develp the story and make it creepy...as well as following-up after the case was over with the team and the fallout.

i have a few ideas
1)We see a case as it is being the unsub stand trail to see what happen after they catch the unsub.

2)Is a unsub is killing wanabe profilers and to catch the killer they have to send somebody undercover,The only one of them that has not been through the classes JJ.

3)And if none of or ideas sound good you should check through the fan fics.

When the cat's away, the mice comes out to play! I would go for something to add levity, like a parody of what is NOT going to happen on CM. Reid gets kidnapped by gun-toting,psychopath/space aliens and can't come up with the statistical probability of that happening! Hotch has to come to work in a dirty, torn T-shirt. Prentiss discovers that she cannot speak Venusian. Morgan doesn't tackle the unsubs. JJ is at a complete loss for words. And Garcia doesn't help with the computer research because she's too busy shopping on the QVC channel.
For a serious script, I'd write something about Reid's Dad coming back into his life. There's enough pathos there to last the rest of the season!

Rossi and Hotch stop by Rossi’s house to pick up his cell phone charger on the way to their next case. Three teenage boys who want become doctors, all first-born with brown hair have gone missing two towns away from Quantico. While at the house Garcia calls with a possible address where the boys are being held. Rossi’s nephew is in town with his best friend checking out Criminal Justice programs at a nearby college. They are both considering becoming profilers. Rossi is not aware that his nephew is in the other room and hears Hotch repeat the address back to Garcia. Once Rossi and Hotch leave, the boys decide to see what it is really like to work a case, jump into their car and get to the address first. The unsub kidnaps them and brings all five boys to another location. Now the team must save five, not three.

Ok heres my idea
The unsub is a advid horror movie fan and thinks he is pinhead off the Hellraiser movies. He goes on a killing spree murdering his victims by using chains with hooks on them he hooks each body part with the hooks then attaches them to a pully and pulls his victims apart he is targeting people of the church he thinks he will never die like pinhead. The BAU get to experence the world of the Horror movie fan and realizes how twisted and dark theri minds can be.

Never posted here before, let's give it a try...

Chicago PD contacts the BAU for help. They have been receiving cryptic notes, a playing card with blood spattered on it, and a piece of jewellery, tied to the card with a ribbon. They have received 3 so far, but had no proof of a crime until a body showed up, badly beaten and burned in a semi-public place. No witnesses have come forward,no motive, and no reports of missing people. They want to catch this guy before another body is found. It all seems very routine, until Morgan notices one of the necklaces is identical to one he bought his sister.... Funny, she was supposed to be back yesterday from her trip. Can he save her in time?
