I have to say, I thought they overdid it a wee bit with the rolling stones song - it did start to seem a bit intrusive in the end. The song in the promo was great though - I had my speakers on a bit too loud and it really made me jump!
I was also distracted in the beginning by the music playing so long but mostly because I love the song and I was watching and singing at the same time. They pick great songs.
The music and poor Spencer were enough to make me cry. I am new to the show but it is great. Thank you for inviting me to your blog.
I wonder whose job it is to choose the music. That'd be so awesome to have a job like that, if you're a huge music fan.
the rolling stones? how appropriate. I like that they picked a quote from the bible for the episode quote. it helped bring the whole idea behind the episode together.
