A GENTLE REMINDER
The copying or use of any pictures on this blog is expressly forbidden without prior permission. Thank you all for respecting this rule. Jill

CRIMINAL MINDS: SHEMAR MOORE AKA DEREK MORGAN

Criminal Minds: Here is a link for a yahoo group that I belong to for Shemar Moore who is currently starring as Derek Morgan. They are a great group of fans and very knowledgeable about all things Shemar: http://movies.groups.yahoo.com/group/Shemar_Moore/

MATTHEW GRAY GUBLER: DR. SPENCER REID

Criminal Minds: Matthew Gray Gubler: Dr. Spencer Reid had the majority of admirers in last night's chat. I wonder why? Not really. He is as cute a bug and extremely sweet. Matthew Gubler does a fantastic job portraying Reid and while I know many fans would like to see him start a relationship with J.J. (A.J. Cook) I don't think from what we have read that that will be happening. I bet the New Year will hold many more wonderful Criminal Minds episodes for all of us. Thanks to the cast, crew and network for such a wonderful show. I hope everyone has a safe and healthy New Year. :)

CRIMINAL MINDS: MANDY PATINKIN

Criminal Minds: I had a great time in last night's chat. One of the things we talked about was that the characters and actors on the show are all so unique and different from each other that there is something or someone for everyone to like. When we talked about Mandy Patinkin we noted that in both Chicago Hope and Criminal Minds he has portrayed strong willed mentally vulnerable men with horrible past life experiences. Kudos to Mandy Patinkin for his brilliant performances. :)

CRIMINAL MINDS: HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MEREDITH MONROE:

Happy Birthday to Meredith Monroe aka Mrs. Aaron Hotchner on Criminal Minds. "Born in Houston, Texas and raised in Hinsdale, Illinois, actress Meredith Monroe is best-known for her 1998-2000 regular role on The WB's hit "Dawson's Creek". As Andie McPhee, the lithe blonde impressed Joshua Jackson's Pacey as well as viewers as Capeside's bright and charming new entrant. Positively gregarious in comparison to her somber onscreen brother Jack (played by Kerr Smith) and the other stars of the popular drama, Monroe was a lively addition. Her initial entry into series television was less successful, however, becoming a regular on ABC's "Dangerous Minds" in 1997 just weeks before the end of the drama's short run. Monroe followed up with guest spots on programs including "The Magnificent Seven" and "Promised Land" (both CBS) in 1998. A familiar face due to her extensive commercial work, she was cast in the title role of "Beyond the Prairie: The True Story of Laura Ingalls Wilder" (CBS, 1999), starring in this biopic about the author's years as a young wife. Presently guest starring as Hayley Hotchner on "Criminal Minds".

THOMAS GIBSON: BEFORE CRIMINAL MINDS THERE WAS DHARMA & GREG

For Stacy who has been busy watching and capping "Dharma and Greg" and is over the moon hooked on Thomas Gibson (Aaron Hotchner). I hope that you are feeling better soon. :)

CRIMINAL MINDS YAHOO GROUP: THANK YOU.

As the year comes to an end I would like to thank the members of my Criminal Minds Yahoo Group for months of friendship and fun. During the month of December the group has posted almost 900 messages and not once did anyone snipe, gripe, act rudely or disrespectfully to any other member. You are a shining example of the best in the world of fandom. People from all over the world coming together to share a common interest. It has truly been my pleasure to meet all of you and I look forward to getting to know everybody even better in the New Year. Jill :)

CRIMINAL MINDS RATINGS FOR "THE FISHER KING, PART TWO".

CBS Perpetrates Thursday Win
Crime-drama repeats rule the night
December 29, 2006
Three solid hours of crime and punishment, all of it the rerun variety, carried CBS to an easy ratings win Thursday night.

CBS averaged a 7.3 rating/12 share in primetime, far and away the best numbers of the night. ABC, 4.8/8, was second in households, although FOX (4.6/8) had more total viewers, 7.23 million to 7.07 million. NBC took fourth with a 3.3/6, and The CW trailed at 1.5/3.

In the adults 18-49 demographic, CBS' 2.9 rating was enough to hold off FOX, 2.8, for the top spot. ABC finished third at 2.4, followed by NBC, 2.1, and The CW, 1.0.

A "Criminal Minds" repeat, 6.5/11, put CBS in the lead at 8 p.m. ABC's "Ugly Betty" rerun was second for the hour. FOX got a 4.1/7 from the movie "Sweet Home Alabama" to finish third, edging reruns of "My Name Is Earl," 4.4/7, and "The Office," 3.6/6, on NBC (which nonetheless had a few more viewers than FOX). "Smallville" earned a 1.6/3 for The CW.

"CSI," 8.8/14, pulled in the night's biggest audience for CBS at 9 p.m. A "Grey's Anatomy" repeat scored a 5.3/9 for ABC, while FOX's movie improved to 5.2/8 and beat ABC in viewers. Reruns of "Scrubs" and "30 Rock" averaged 2.7/4 for NBC. A "Supernatural" repeat on The CW was fifth.

At 10 p.m., CBS' "Shark" delivered a 6.5/11. A "Men in Trees" repeat averaged 4.5/8 for ABC, and NBC's "ER" came in at 3.3/6.

CRIMINAL MINDS: THE FISHER KING, PART ONE: GARCIA CONFESSES.

Criminal Minds, The Fisher King Part One, screencaps courtesy of slash_girl. How hard must it have been for Penelope Garcia (Kirsten Vangsness) to walk into that conference room and confess to her coleagues that she had caused the security breach that had allowed the Fisher King to access their personal information? I don't think I have ever seem Jason Gideon (Mandy Patinkin) so mad. And of course he followed it up by having what appeared to be a small nervous breakdown. Wonderful performance by Kirsten Vangsness. I could feel her pain. But never understimate the wonder that is Garcia.............she found a lead. :)
