CRIMINAL MINDS: NOT SO 'LUCKY' ANYMORE
Criminal Minds: This brought back lots of memories of Criminal Minds episode "Lucky" written by Andrew Wilder and starring Joe Mantegna, Thomas Gibson, Paget Brewster, Shemar Moore, A.J. Cook, Matthew Gray Gubler and Kirsten Vangsness. I wonder if this psycho ever watched the episode and if it looked familar to him.
DEER LODGE, Mont., April 14 (UPI) -- Nathaniel Bar-Jonah, accused of eating a Montana boy in 1996, died in a state prison following a battle with diabetes, prison officials said.
Bar-Jonah, 51, died Sunday of undetermined causes. He was serving a 130-year sentence for kidnapping, raping, strangling and killing a Montana boy, The Boston Globe reported Monday.
In 1996, authorities in Montana said they had enough evidence to charge him for the murder of 10-year-old Zachary Ramsey. Officials said Bar-Jonah murdered Ramsey, cut him up and served the remains to his neighbors.
Ramsey's mother, Rachel Howard, said Zachary was still alive in 2002 and authorities dropped the charges. Zachary's body was never found.
He was released from a Massachusetts jail in 1991 and moved to Montana.
He was later arrested for impersonating a police officer. A search of his home uncovered human remains and he was convicted of murder and sexual assault.
Authorities also uncovered a recipe in Bar-Jonah's handwriting calling for human flesh as an ingredient.
Police officials in Montana said they discovered Bar-Jonah early Sunday morning. The official cause of death is undetermined pending an autopsy.
