CRIMINAL MINDS: KIRSTEN VANGSNESS TALKS ABOUT THE WRITERS STRIKE.

Criminal Minds: Kirsten Vangsness, Penelope Garcia on Criminal Minds, had this to say in an interview regarding the writers strike: "she gets why some actors may resent the striking writers. "It does seem like, 'Shut the hell up. [Writers] make scads of money....' But at the same time...I know fantastic writers who maybe get one script bought once [in a] blue moon, and besides that, they're just working, and they're incredibly middle-class, probably more like lower-middle-class," said Vangsness, who has been walking the picket lines and attended the SAG-sponsored "Actor Day on the WGA Picket Lines" Nov. 13 at Universal Studios.

Vangsness and the Criminal Minds crew are shooting their last script, Episode 12. "I work tomorrow [Nov. 14] and that's it. I don't know when I go back," she said. The production company, Touchstone Television, a division of Disney, hasn't announced its plans regarding the show.
