Anything by Pale Young Gentlemen would be great. : DI think some Placebo songs would fit pretty well into the show as well.
Oasis - Wonderwall, Don't Look Back In Anger (I'd cry if I listen to these two songs in Criminal Minds), Up In The Sky (someone besides me remember this?), Slide Away or Bag it Up. I agree with "Battersea" by Hooverphonic and "This is your life" by Switchfoot. They're great songs.
"Ants Marchings" by Dave Matthews Band
What if Thomas Gibson (Agent Hotchner) were found singing "I wanna rock-n-roll all night and part of every day"? Pls tell me other people saw this on Dharma and Greg!!!!!!! Serious, I have a great idea for a serial killer - someone using historic fiction as his inspiration - recreating murders found in Victorian fiction - there are a ton of novels that were published between 1830 and 1901 that have really juicy murders, and those would be really cool for a serial killer to recreate.
Springsteen!!!You can't go wrong with the Boss!!!
First, I really appreciate the way you use the music in criminal minds, the soundtrack is always precise.I've discovered some singer that I didn't know and that now I like very much. And now my suggestions:1) Fragile- Sting2)What a wonderful world - L. Armstrong3) Hallelujah - Leonard Cohen4) Everybody Hurts -R.E.M.5) Girls just want have fun - Cyndi Lauper6)The sound of silence - Simon & Gurfunkel7)If God will send his angels -U28)The Ghost of Tom Joad/ Darkness on the edge of town Bruce Springsteen9) Angel of Harlem U210) Tracks of my tears -Smokey Robinson11)Bak to Life -Giovanni Allevi12)Guaranteed - Ediie Vedder13)Dust in the wind- Eagles14)The Rain King -Counting Crows15)Til Kingdom Come- Coldplay16)Adagio for strings by the Vancouver Symphony orchestraor anything from R.E.M.rosalioka

Placebo always have great mood music!
I'd love to hear some Mark Lanegan, PJ Harvey or the Afghan Whigs.
I would love to hear some more punk or grunge music. Oh, especially riot grrl music. Bikini Kill, the Dead Kennedys, Alice in Chains, that sort of music. It all tends to be rather dark, with a driving beat. I love that kind of music, and I think it makes for awesome background music in fight scenes, chases and such. It tends to be underused in TV, despite the fact that, due to the wall-of-sound nature of the songs, this kind of music can blend quite easily into the background, becoming ambient noise that it's really quite easy to hear the actors and sound effects over.
anything by Five for Fighting or P.O.D
"Rangers" and "Borrowed Time" by A Fine Frenzy
I have to give credit for this one to Mnemosphere, but someone from the show really needs to listen to "A & B Song" by Tom McRae. It is perfect, and I mean PERFECT for the show - on so many levels.
Keane: A Bad Dream, Atlantic, Hamburg Song, Crystal Ball.Kings of Leon: Manhattan. And especially Cold Desert. I love that song to death, and I think it would fit the show perfectly. :)M.I.A.: Paper Planes. It's kind of a more contemporary feel than I think the show aims for, but it could work.Coldplay: A lot have been said :), but I haven't seen A Whisper and Postcards From Far Away.U2: Once again, lot's said. :) but The Wanderer would be just perfect. And Johnny Cash's vocals and The Edge and Bono singing backup are so haunting, and powerful all at once.John Lennon: Give Peace A Chance. It would be a good song to end a case on.
Missed some :pU2: Miss Sarajevo, Your Blue Room, I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For, One Tree Hill.Foo Fighters: Times Like These, My Hero. the acoustic-ish versions from Skin and Bones are great.
Metallica- The Unforgiven(1) Marc Broussard- Home Kenny Wayne Shepard- Blue on Black
