Criminal Minds: I think April Webster, Scott David and Erica Silverman, pictured with Scott in the production office of Criminal Minds, did their best job ever casting for the show this season. I have some suggestions of guest stars I would like to see on Criminal Minds in season five. Josh Malina, Justine Bateman, to name a few. What are your suggestions?

Now that Chris Noth is off of LOCI he would be a great guest star. What an awesome unsub he would make. Anyone agree with me?

I'd love to see Jenna Elfman guest star! After seeing Minimal Loss, I've lot to see the chemistry between a character she plays and Thomas Gibson's 'Hotch'. Or Victoria Rowell up against Shemar Moore. Having that (already established) chemistry has really paid off a few times!

I would LOVE to see Stargate's Michael Shanks guest star. He is a great actor who can play good guys (like Daniel Jackson)and bad guys equally.
He guest starred in a 4 episode arc of Burn Notice where he turned an over the top psychotic in the first episode to a tragic,sympathetic anti-hero in the last episode.
I always pictured him playing Tobias, since he can do a DID storyline. I would love to see him working with Reid(who reminds me of a a young Daniel Jackson). That would be a great episode for me.
Rupert Grint of Harry Potter fame. He has said he loves the show and watches it religiously.
The show has attracted some really great actors/actresses this season. The child actors have been totally awesome.
I would like Jane Lynch back. She is always great as Reid's mom. Kevin Kline would be interesting.

Also, as a HEROES fan, I'd like to see some of our fallen, David Anders and Brea Grant.

Apparently Ringo Starr is a fan of the show, a cameo with him would be great (I don't know if he acts) and a Beetle on our show would be so cool.

Ed Asner did such an awesome job on CSI New York last week. He'd be great as a 'retired' serial killer who can't help himself and returns to killing.

I think it would be super cool to have Jenna Elfman on, maybe playing a hardboiled detective or something. I think Matthew Perry would be good times. Famke Jannesen would be super awesome too, and I'd definitely have to throw my vote in for Alan Tudyk, because he can totally be good guy and bad guy all in one go. Who also does a surprisingly good bad guy is Josh Hartnett.
Also, Reid and Abby of NCIS need to have some good nerd time together, although I suspect Abby would hit it off better with Garcia.
I would love to see a little cross over from NCIS and Criminal Minds. I think we need to get all those NCIS fans on the Criminal Minds bandwagon... so I will agree that Abby and Mark Harmon's Agent Gibbs should come over for a show.
How great would confrontation between Agent Hotchner and Gibbs be!?!?
I would love to see Helen Mirren (Simon Mirren's aunt) as a guest star. She's amazing!

I'm in agreement with an NCIS crossover, Gibbs vs Hotch, Abby vs Garcia or Reid, Reid vs Magee (my personal favorite) I just love geeks.
I’d like to see reappearances of Michael Ironside as John, Eric Johnson as Sean and Jane Lynch as Diana.
A cross over with another crime series would be great, though I’m not sure which one to choose. NCIS would be great, but others could work, too.

I really do not care which guest stars come to the show. I watch CM because of it's great cast members, I want them all back! So CBS or powers that be....save your money and just bring our whole team back!!!!
So lot's of great suggestions in the comments already, but I have to say that I'd love to see Jason Wiles from Ed B.'s old show "Third Watch" or Molly Price from that same show. Jason Dohring would be fantastic as well. :) And I know Skipp Sudduth has already been on, but I would love to see him reprise his role of Detective Gordinski.

Michael Redgrave was wonderful as the depraved bigot on LOCI a while ago. He is always a great guest star on episodic TV shows.

I totally love NCIS .... but "atmosphere" is totally different for my beloved Naval agents, vs my beloved BAU. I think Hotch and Rossi would be paralyzed with shock at the Tony / Ziva banter, or Gibbs smacking people on the head.

Wow! What a question! Boggles the mind to think of some of these wonders: James Spader would be great; Noah Wyle-very interesting, too nice to be an unsub tho'; Richard Dean Anderson -he could go either way, I'll bet.
But my personal favorite would be Jimmy Smits. Albeit for the $, he would make an amazing unsub if he was nearly as devious and nasty as the character Miguel he played in "Dexter" last season. But he could be the wonderful, principled good cop/agent like Bobby Simone that he played in "NYPD Blue", back in the 90's.
*Sigh* yes, Jimmy has my vote. I would contribute for that cause... just tell me where to send the money...Anything to see that man on TV again soon...

I'd love to see Robert LaSardo appear on Criminal Minds. He's appeared on Nip/Tuck and General Hospital. He's an amazing actor and I think he'd make a great unsub!
Like someone has said before me: "I don't really care who's on Criminal Minds next season, if one of the cast members is not returning for a full season."
Especially when they lose the heart and soul of the show! Losing the heart and soul would mean no more Criminal Minds for me. And we all know who the heart and soul of the show is ;)
And to me it doesn't matter who's gonna appear on the show. Just as long as they keep telling great stories and put on an amazing show on television, the names and people behind it are of less interest to me.
A bigger name or sexier face doesn't always bring the quality we all so want and love of Criminal Minds.

I may be old fashioned but I am still a fan of the crossover, as long as folks don't over do and step too far out of their character.
