Additionally, CSI: NY captured 2.08 million viewers to complete a one-two punch for CTV: Criminal Minds and CSI: NY were the Top 2 programs in total audience and the key A25-54 and A18-49 demos - not only nationally, but in all three metered markets (Toronto, Vancouver and Calgary) as well. Criminal Minds Season Four Spoilers: Reported by Kirsten at E!Online, her are some spolers from Ed Bernero, Executive Producer of Criminal Minds.
As reportedly previously, A.J. Cook is revealed to be giving birth simultaneously with her character JJ on Criminal Minds. But a new liaison is filling the void in the form of Agent Jordan Todd.
“We have Meta Golding filling in for her as a character named Agent Jordan Todd. Meta's doing an amazing job, but what you're going to learn from her character is just how good J.J. is at her job. Jordan is new to all of this, and you're going to learn that J.J.'s job is not easy," Bernero said.
Aside from Cook, Bernero also hints on some of the upcoming storylines for Kirsten Vangsness' Penelope Garcia and Paget Brewster, who plays Emily Prentiss the police procedural. According to the main man, Emily has a secret.
"We have a real surprise in the middle of the season about her life. I think it will make total sense when it comes out, but I don't think that you will see it coming. We're excited about it, and Paget is very excited about it. It's something that we've talked about behind the scenes, as 'this is the secret,' but we're going to reveal it this year and give an interesting backstory to that character."
On the other hand, love seems to be in the cards for Vangsness' character.
"We're playing a little bit with her relationship with Kevin Lynch [played by Nick Brendon]. He's in a couple of episodes—one early in the season and episode eight. The two of them—they find these moments, and they're really good together," Bernero revealed. - Kirsten, E!Online

Shemar Moore: Yeah, it's pretty phenomenal. I wish we could do that every week. That felt like a feature film. It was fun to be a part of. It's fast and furious.

Criminal Minds quotes for "Tabula Rasa" written by Jay Beattie and Dan Dworkin and starring Joe Mantegna, Thomas Gibson, Matthew Gray Gubler, Shemar Moore, Paget Brewster, Kirsten Vangsness and A.J. Cook are:
"All changes, even the most longed for, have their melancholy; for what we leave behind us is a part of ourselves. We must die to one life before we can enter another." -- Anatole France
"What though the radiance that was once so bright, be now forever taken from my sight. Though nothing can bring back the hour of splendor in the grass, of glory in the flower; We will grieve not, rather find strength in what remains behind." -- William Wordsworth

"Mayhem"--When an SUV carrying members of the BAU explodes, the rest of the team fights to save their colleagues and catch the terrorists responsible for the bombing, on the fourth season premiere of CRIMINAL MINDS, Wednesday, Sept. 24 (9:00-10:00 PM, ET/PT) on CBS. Criminal Minds starring Joe Mantegna, Thomas Gibson, Shemar Moore, Paget Brewster, A.J. Cook, Matthew Gray Gubler and Kirsten Vangsness!
Criminal Minds: Shemar Moore, Derek Morgan on Criminal Minds, will be participating in the wonderful joint network effort. "Stand Up To Cancer.
"LOS ANGELES (AP) ™ Skateboarder Tony Hawk, actor Shemar Moore and other celebrities said they joined in a three-network cancer telethon on Friday because the disease had touched or taken the lives of loved ones.
Hawk, who lost his father to lung cancer 15 years ago and a close friend to a brain tumor last month, called the timing of the Stand Up to Cancer telethon "poetic."
"I’m here doing whatever they ask of me," he told reporters before the telethon began. "As long as I don’t have to sing or dance, it’s all good."
Stand Up to Cancer, a fund- and awareness-raising organization, organized the unprecedented, star-studded live telethon airing simultaneously on ABC, NBC and CBS on Friday night.
Moore, who said his uncle’s wife waged a successful three-year fight against cancer, was eager to answer phones for the cause.
"I’m gonna be sweet-talking some people and trying to reach into their pockets," said Moore, who stars on CBS’ "Criminal Minds."
Jennifer Nettles of Sugarland said her boyfriend’s father died of cancer recently and her brother has been diagnosed with the disease. Sugarland, Melissa Etheridge and others were to close the show with a retooled version of Etheridge’s "I Run for Love" — changed to "I Stand for Life."
"I hope I’m going to be able to get through it without crying," Nettles said, noting that Etheridge is a cancer survivor.
Singer-songwriter Jason Mraz, whose hit "The Remedy" was inspired by a friend’s battle with bone cancer, also was slated to join the star-studded finale performance.
Rehearsing with Etheridge and others "actually gave me chills," Mraz said. "Their star power is stripped away and they’re just human beings today."
Casey Affleck, who was set to help answer donation calls, said he had a secret way to command more contributions.
"I’ll probably tell them I’m ... someone more famous and exciting so I can get a bigger donation," he said.
America Ferrera left the "Ugly Betty" cast in New York so she could participate in the fundraiser. The Emmy nominee said she lost a beloved college professor to cancer, and that she hoped the evening would be a "hopeful" one that will inspire those facing the disease.
Hollywood producer Laura Ziskin, one of the telethon’s organizers, has fought cancer since 2004. After seeing what "An Inconvenient Truth" did for environmental awareness, Ziskin wanted to make a documentary about cancer, a disease she has fought since 2004.
But, teaming up with two other prominent women, she found another approach.
Former Paramount Pictures chief Sherry Lansing, who established a namesake foundation dedicated to cancer research and awareness, was working with television networks to put on a cancer-awareness TV special. So was Katie Couric, who has been an advocate for early cancer screenings — and even televised her own colonoscopy — since losing her husband to colon cancer 10 years ago.
So the women got together — along with other entertainment-industry execs and more than 60 of their famous friends — to create Stand Up to Cancer. -AP

Criminal Minds: Kirsten Vangsness, Penelope Garcia on Criminal Minds, is once again acting at the wonderful "Theater of Note". If you are in the area I wouldn't miss this.
GO: SPIDER BITES - Consider this assortment of 11 short selections from the Jacqueline Wright sketchbook a fine introductory primer to the playwright's signature Dadaist inversions of romantic love. The pieces play like prosodic postmortems of relationships gone horribly wrong. With Wright, characters don't fall in love so much as become ensnared in predatory webs of their own inchoate yearnings, unalloyed cruelties and unnatural appetites. The love bites here carry gruesome venom. Thus, in "Milk," Kirsten Vangsness' psychically crippled black widow in a wedding dress satisfies her voracious need for something "warm and red" by literally consuming beau David Wilcox. Likewise, "Mantis" finds a shell-shocked Lauren Letherer prodded by her conscience (Scott McKinley) into coming to terms with "the dead guy ... on the floor." In "Sleeping Spider," a young victim of incest (Vangsness) takes refuge from her broken family by retreating into the fantasy of her own crayon wall drawings come to life. "Pops" shifts gears in a comic burlesque of a gender-switched melodrama, as Lynn Odell, Mandi Moss and Wilcox enact the dénouement of a homicidal triangle. But Wright can also transcend the bitter, as with "Beautiful," a sweetly moving meditation on mortality, loss and the authenticity of even a dying love. Director Dan Bonnell matches Wright's viscerally vivid poetry note for note with graphically compelling stage imagery, precisely tuned blocking and a razor-sharp ensemble. Theatre of NOTE, 1517 N. Cahuenga Blvd., Hlywd.; Fri.-Sat., 8 p.m.; Sun., 7 p.m.; thru Oct. 4. (323) 856-8611. -LA Weekly

Criminal Minds: Ed Bernero, Executive Producer of Criminal Minds, wrote a very interesting article for TV Guide. "I was thinking about all this because, right now, 10 episodes (in various stages of production) into the fourth season, Criminal Minds is having what I believe to be our best season yet. There are bombs and foot chases and shoot-outs and huge crashes and unexpected glimpses into our characters' pasts; we have scary locations and amazing guest stars like Jason Alexander, Luke Perry and Wil Wheaton. And, of course, we've got a menagerie of terrifying "unsubs" who will have you covering your eyes and watching through your barely open fingers. It's definitely exciting. I hope you'll get to understand a little bit of what it feels like to be a cop."

Criminal Minds: Ed Bernero discussed the season four promo and AC/DC with TV Guide: "Minds exec producer Ed Bernero, having been afforded an advance listen to the track a while back, seized the chance to edit the promo himself. “We love AC/DC,” he tells me, “and just wanted to play with our images and this amazing piece of music.” Is Bernero perhaps afraid that the sneak peek gives away too much about who lives and dies? “You know, I just want people to watch the premiere [airing Sept. 24],” he says. “You can see by the spot that [the episode] a little different for us. It’s action from start to finish, and we want people to know that.” “Plus,” he notes, “a trailer is not necessarily in continuity. You may not be getting as much spoiler info as you think.” Indeed, be careful not to be misled by images culled from the season finale." -TV GUIDE ONLINE
