CBS: We, the fans of Criminal Minds, find it both disturbing and inconceivable that Thomas Gibson and Shemar Moore, after months of active negotiations, still have no contract for season seven. What makes it even worse is that it comes on the heels of the firing then rehiring of A.J. Cook and the equally shabby treatment extended to Paget Brewster.
Criminal Minds has always been a cash cow for both ABC and CBS. Unlike many shows on TV today Criminal Minds' profit margin has increased every season and then there is the fact that it continually beats out the scripted competition in its time slot. It also has a much larger viewership than does the spin-off, which continues to receive sub-par ratings. CBS certainly can't be having financial troubles since Les Moonves' new contract is for over 57 million dollars.
Criminal Mind without Thomas Gibson or Shemar Moore is inconceivable and unacceptable to us and we ask that you please read the comments attached to this post before you make another one of our cast members endure the emotional slap in the face that you extended to our beloved actresses or worse, not bringing them back for season seven.

I have been a Thomas Gibson fan since he was Greg on Dharma and Greg. I followed him to Criminal Minds. I like his Hotch character alot. I will dump Criminal Minds if Thomas Gibson does not come back.
There are few shows that have incredible chemistry between the cast members like Criminal Minds. They work well off each other and personal talk say between Shemar and Kirsten is so natural or when Matthew's character gets lovingly teased it's believable, you know they like each other on and off the set.The stories are amazing. When Gary Dourdan's (Warrick) character in CSI was killed, i was so upset but i watched it. Then when William Peterson left (Grissom) i wouldn't watch it anymore. I haven't since. The characters make the show and if even just one was removed from the equation it's not the same. I think Paget will come back it was left open, i (gasp)saw her fingenails! I hope CBS doesn't mess up this wonderful show! Im not sure about the new one. There isn't any comraderie and when those characters speak to "Garcia" she is her witty, cool self but she is lost on the other characters..there's no banter and her quips are not appreciated. If they lost Shemar or Thomas i wouldn't watch it, if Matthew or Kirsten or Joe weren't there it wouldn't be Criminal minds. AJ is back and thats great. i saw the episode where she left and the look on the charcters face reflect how we the viewers would feel. It was so sad to see Matthew's face, he looked lost and hurt. I wanted to hug him! I could literaly feel the angiush. CBS Please be good to these actors. They are the show and are so good together. Thank you
If Gibson is gone, there is no one to lead the team. With Moore gone, there is no one to provide comic relief. CBS was wise enough to re-sign A.J. for two more seasons. Even if Gibson and Moore sign for just this season, many fans would be happy.

Seriously CBS, it is like you can't handle having hit shows because you move heaven and earth to destroy every hit you have. WTH!! It looks like some brain cells may have regenerated now that you have signed AJ back on when, P.S., you should have never fired her in the first place, especially not to replace with such a weak character that needs to hit the ground running out of the BAU. Now, you have Paget out and I hope for your sakes and the viewers sake that she comes back. But it doesn't stop there, now this contract mess with Gibson and Moore. Why these men don't hae contracts in their back pockets is way out of anything that makes sense. Give these men what they deserve based on their service to you and the show for 5 + years. They are important parts of the show that you cannot afford to lose. Get the show that you whacked out of order in order again!
I think it would be a travesty if Morgan and Hotch were not brought back for season 7! There is no Criminal Minds without them! Even though I love the show and am happy that AJ is being brought back... If Shemar and Thomas are not brought back for season 7 I will stop both Criminal Minds and Criminal Minds: Suspect Behavior! Seeing as the fans are what make the shows and keeps them on tv I think it would be in CBS's best interest to listen to the fans!! Hotch's character is essential to the show and although he is not my favorite, I am impressed by the little things he ads to an episode which you might not even notice, watching it the first time, but appreciate more and more, every time you watch the episode....he is the leader and the team needs a leader like him...
Morgan is my favorite character and I can say that if Shemar won't get a new contract, I will not be watching CM anymore...I love the way, Morgan and Garcia flirt, he teases Reid and helps him as his "Big Brother" and how he is always there to take care of his family...Shemar is a very good actor and I would be really sad if I didn't get the chance to see him on the show every week...I would be very happy if CBS would find it to give Thomas and Shemar the contracts they deserve and maybe bring PAget back too, so that the family is back together...
Thomas Gibson is a fantastic actor and totally owns the character of "Hotch". He is completely central to CM, and the show would be greatly diminished to the point of extinction without him. Please do not cut Thomas from the show, or decrease his screentime. Shemar is also great in the show. CBS please give us a summer without angst this year - Sign up Thomas for his current Hotch role because no Hotch no CM no me! Sign up Shmar also. I used to love CM. It was my #1 show. Everything got dropped in order to tune in. I was drawn to Hotch immediately. The imperfect hero. Consummate professional, father, mentor. I was hooked. Then this season happened. Nightmare. Where is the main man Hotch? The others are ok but I watch for Hotch. I wanted to see how he’s dealing with the trauma of Season 5 but he’s been almost invisible. Why? I want more Hotch! More TG in S7. Please sign him soon! And sign Shemar too; both men are critical!

So many fans have said wise and thoughtful things here, and I really don't have anything to add except my voice. Please, please get these deals done. The show will not survive another major cast upheaval -- particularly one that's self-inflicted as the last two have been. CM cannot go on without Hotch and Morgan.
Both Thomas and Shemar, in addition to being fine actors, are respectable, actively charitable men in their lives away from CM. If I met either of them on the street, I would not hesitate to let my small child talk to them, ask for an autograph, whatever. In short, they bring credit to your network as employees. They represent your company far better than some others. (You know, that guy.) I wholeheartedly urge you to keep them!
I’m watching reruns of CM on A&E; its something me and my family do on Friday. I can’t believe you would even consider not getting TG back! His character of Hotch is so central to CM. If CM was to lose him it would lose its best character. I hope you will come to your senses and sign TG back. You had money for everyone else on every other show, don’t know why you would not have some left for Gibson!

I've always been a fan of SSA Hotchner and his team. Actually, Hotcher and Garcia are my favorites. But the entire team NEEDS to remain together. Please stop "messing with" one of the most popular crime procedural shows on the network, ok?? Hope we don't have this conversation...again!!!
I want Thomas and Shemar to be happy in their lives and careers. I would really like to continue seeing them in Criminal Minds as it continues. These two men are essential members of the cast of the show. If either of them cannot get their contracts renewed and leave the show,I will not continue to watch the show.
If CBS is proud of CM, why are they changing it all the time. In Season6 Episode2 I think (JJ)... The script and cast all made comments along the line that their BAU Team is a family. When yall took AJ away you thought you were doing the show a favor. Then you took away Paget, what family is left. The protective sisters are gone, are you really going to take away the protective brother and the father away. That will ruin the family for good

Altho' it is a crying shame that you thought you had to make such changes to "freshen"the show, it would appear now that you realize that was not the way to go and are trying to make amends.
Getting JJ back is a good first step to the fix...but now you must work fast to complete the work necessary to help CM recover its star status.
Sign the guys, do your best to get PB back and let's get back to the original winning 7. Back to basics - it's what works.

I can think of no excuse for CBS behavior on Criminal Minds, maybe this is something like a personal feud between people involved in the series and CBS and ABC studios, I have to think this because I can't find a rational explanation for CBS being so mean to a show that returns 14 million ratings every week and generates a lot of publicity and money for the network. Please put your personal issues away and do the right thing, keep the cast, keep Thomas Gibson and Shemar Moore and bring Paget Brewster back, we'll keep returning great ratings.
One last suggestion: if you run out of money, you can cut Rachel Nichols off, and Jayne Atkinson, too. CM got enough unsubs in the streets and doesn't need to keep one at the BAU, Chief Strauss, constantly threatening the team.
Hope this year you won't be taking advantage of the cast's holidays to lay them off, as you did last summer to AJ Cook.
And if you're still short of budget, cancel Suspect Behavior, no one will miss it.
I can't say it any better than others already have, so just adding my, "here here!" We'd miss our guys as much as we missed our ladies.

He’s the one that is the most interesting and complex, who is played by an actor who should have won an Emmy for his work in the episode called ‘100’! How can you even think of not signing him back is beyond me!
I implore the powers at CBS to learn from the mistake that was made this year with AJ and Paget. It is imperative that Thomas Gibson and Shemar Moore remain on the show. Criminal Minds has a very loyal fan base and I don't believe they would support any decision that would not bring back these fine actors.

In the same light as other fans, I would plead to the studio responsible for the running of this show, to please stop messing with the recipe. Losing two key female cast members was a huge hit to the family of Criminal Minds, and the fans who support them. If this show takes another hit by losing Thomas and Shemar, I don't think it will be long before all we see is reruns.
Please, stop messing with the cast. You have a strong ensemble for this program and a huge fanbase who don't want to see any more changes.

I can't watch and will not watch without Thomas Gibson. Its been so hard this season because there has been so little of him. Thomas Gibson is an underated actor but a very classy man. He can't be replaced.

I have been a loyal fan since the beginning! When they fired AJ and cut Pagets contract not only as a female fan was I offended I was confused as to why CBS even thought that was the right move! JJ was my favorite character becuz as viewers we could relate to her becuz of who her character represented! The show was a the top of its game! CBS's actions didn't make sense, at least not to us fans that have been there from the beginning! Bringing AJ back has made me excited for season 7 as I only watch the eps of season 6 that had her in it &the ones leading up 2 pagets last eps. I have been a loyal fan of Criminal Minds since it's pilot show. I started watching because of Shemar Moore and continued because I fell in love with the dynamic of the team. With the loss of AJ Cook and Paget Brewster I made a choice to not watch the spin-off and with the casting of the new agent I made choice to not watch any shows on ABC or CBS with the exception of new criminal minds episodes ( I watch re-runs on one of the other networks) If we Thomas or Shemar, I will no longer watch criminal minds. I think the actions of CBS and ABC leave a lot to be desired lately. Bringing back AJ Cook was simply a wrong that was made right. Bring back Paget and sign on our regular team members to show the fans that you do really listen to what they say.
CBS/TPTB, Hotch is my favorite character on Criminal Minds. His presence on the show hasn't been felt in the way that it should have been this season. I'm hoping this is corrected ASAP, and that next season has a lot of Hotch.
Hotch has a lot of issues that the writers need to go into. This would be fascinating for his fans to watch. I want to see this delved into by the writers, and I also want Hotch to be shown as the definite leader of the team as he was in the earlier seasons of the show. If Thomas Gibson's role on the show as Hotch continues to be diminished or if he is not re-signed to the show, I will no longer be watching.
Why is CM constantly your target??? All it does is have the most loyal fandom on television, perform in the top 10 on a regular basis against stiff competition and have actors who aren’t complete a**holes. But you practically destroy it by forcing out our ladies, giving us another we don’t want and, worst of all, allowing your lead actor TG to be sidelined for a season & a half! This year is the worst ever and I only watch because of Hotch. If things don’t change and Hotch isn’t back and back in the forefront where he belongs (and has earned, btw) next season, I’ll be tuning into another channel – permanently. No Hotch No CM 4 me!
I just read the chat transcripts on the CMF blog and it said that Thomas Gibson has no contract despite the actor wanting to be back. Why haven’t you signed him yet CBS? The letter is totally right on. I pray CBS will see what a disaster Season 6 has been and the loss of Thomas and Shemar will ruin a great show.
I think the 249 comments say more than enough. Criminal Minds without Hotchner and Morgan is just ... unimaginable. Letting go of JJ was hard to accept for us, how much more taking away the head of the unit and a really solid agent.
Please CBS? The cast is already perfect. BEYOND PERFECT. I can't think of anyone else to replace them.

I am French and fan of Criminal Minds, I saw the show many times since the beginning and I never missed an episode. In addition to very good investigations well treated, what I like most is the teamwork and family spirit from the characters... and also actors.
Loss of one team member is endangering the balance of the show, so the loss of two main characters including Hotch, the backbone of the team is inconceivable.
These characters have evolved over six seasons and created strong links between them (Morgan / Garcia) CBS may not evict these two actors. This will be the end of the show for me.
However I am optimistic because CBS has acknowledged his mistake by reinstating JJ and proposing resumed Prentiss, I do not think CBS repeats the same mistake two years in a row.
CBS is lucky to have a wonderful show, change a good team of characters and actor will be a huge mistake.
Please CBS settle contracts with Shemar Moore and Thomas Gibson, the sooner, the better. Thank you

so this season all the fans were crying out due to the removal of AJ Cook and given another slap in the face when the substandard and very poorly written replacement was introduced.
Due to the poor treatment of Padget it is unclear if she will return for season 7 Now you are messing around with Thomas Gibson and Shemar Moore's contracts. After the poor season 6 the fans are just about accepting season 7 might be without Padget.
However if season 7 starts without Thomas Gibson or Shemar Moore then i will not be watching. I dont want to spend another season hoping it will return to the criminal minds i love.
CBS, please DON'T hurt a show that so many people love. Season 6 was bad enough with the dismissal JJ was given and what happened to Prentiss, but I promised myself I'd stick with it through the season finale because this is a show I've been a fan of for the last six years. When I heard that AJ was back I was so happy! I hope Prentiss will be back, too, but even if she isn't, please don't axe Hotch and Morgan because the show would suck so much without them. Hotch is finally getting to a place where he can shine again and Morgan & Garcia have one of the strongest dynamics I've ever seen in any TV show (Garcia is awesome!) Also, if you want people to like Seaver (as opposed to now) then make her character a little more believable. (Nothing against Rachel Nicols, I think she performed admirably under all the pressure!) Anyway, please listen to your fans - look at these comments, and the polls on the front page of CMF! - and resign Thomas and Shemar ASAP! I'll be hoping for some good news!

Come on CBS, you started to make things right again on CM by rehiring AJ Cook. Don’t make the mistake of thinking that AJ being back will make the fans accept losing TG! No way will I watch CM if my favourite character Hotch is not back! And please no more episode like ’25 to Life’ where Hotch is missing entirely! When I read on twitter from people watching the show on the east coast that TG was missing I watched Modern Family instead! That would be what I will do next season if Thomas don’t come back!

I support this message to CBS regarding Moore and Gibson.
CM Season 6 has been lacking -- sure, a large part of it has been the absence of Cook, and now Brewster, but a huge amount has to do with a lack of dynamic writing, these favorite characters falling into the shadows, and resources (quite obviously) being poured into the "spin-off."
I tried to like Suspect Behaviour. Despite my objections to it in principle, I really did try, as a Forest Whitaker fan, to enjoy the first few episodes. Instead I found myself dreading them, reluctant to watch them as they sit there, mocking me, from the DVR. There is no chemistry. There is no originality. Instead it's just another tired cop drama, with Whitaker channelling the spirit of Vincent D'Onofrio's character from the L&O spin-off.
So I give up on Suspect Behaviour completely. I can only hope that what was stolen from CM will be returned; That the beloved characters will be intact; That season seven will be worth watching. Otherwise, no amount of stunt-casting or fresh blood in the world could make me suffer through its demise. I would want to watch, for the amazing cast members that remain, but I would forever dread losing them as well. And it would be a weekly reminder that good things never last because there are people who think they can do better or make more by messing with the recipe.
Give Shemar and Thomas what they require to stay on board with CM. And heed these words next year when more cast members are negotiating. In a world with endless possibile options and numerous other shows out there, begging for our attention, consider yourselves blessed to have such an attentive fan base.

CBS, what are you doing???? It is like you guys are doomed to keep repeating the same mistakes over and over again. You fired AJ and tried to seal the void that was left by her character on the show with just a train wreck of a character that defies any sense of logic, causes OOC writing, and just plain adds nothing to the show, certainly nothing that was worth getting rid of AJ's character for. Paget, you tinkered with her until she got to the point where she wanted a pilot out option. Gibson and Moore don't have contracts and from what is being whispered about are nowhere near getting one. Is this what is going to happen next year as well with Matthew and Joe?
I understand that there has got to be some give and take with contracts but the problem here is that all you have ever done with this show is take. You've taken away excellent writers, you've taken away fantastic actresses, eliminating the fantastic and fitting characters they portrayed on the show, now there is a possibility that you will take away one or both of these fantastic actors, eliminating the fantastic characters and fitting characters they portray on the show. It's time to stop taking and start giving. Start giving the show back some of the resources you took away from it to hire excellent writers, do everything under the sun to get Paget back on the show, start paying the cast that has busted their rears to make this show a success the money they are worth. Above all, start respecting and valuing the cast that has successfully carried this show from one season to the next.

Shemar Moore and Thomas Gibson are just as vital a part of the success of Criminal Minds as amazing actresses AJ Cook and Paget Brewster. Cook and Brewster's absences are felt every episode that airs without them, and the same would be true if Moore and Gibson were not rehired.
Criminal Minds is a show that works because of the collaborative talents of everyone in the cast. Taking away a character leaves a gaping hole, and leaves us, the audience constantly wondering "What would [the missing actor or actress] do in this situation?" Moore and Gibson are unique individuals and amazing actors and I hope they will be allowed to continue their exceptional work on Criminal Minds. Just as I hope that Paget Brewster will be allowed to come back if the option is available.
Thank you for giving us back AJ Cook. The show was not the same without my favorite actress. But please know that Criminal Minds won't be the same without Shemar Moore and Thomas Gibson either. Each person in the cast plays a vital role in the success of a show like this. Please give Moore and Gibson back, too. They have been nothing short of exceptional and deserve to return.

I'm so done with CBS picking on CM and on our cast! Just when you think they've seen some sense and started to make amends to CM they go out and do something even more stupid. If the guys don't get full time contracts next year it will be the beginning of the end for CM. And as painful as it is to leave the show it's more painful to watch it go down the drains. I can't and won't watch Criminal Minds without Hotch.
I highly doubt that Thomas or Shemar are asking for gobs of money. They probably just want fair contracts. I am shocked that this is even a question. Each in their own way is essential to the show and they both want to come back. This isn't a Mandy thing where an actor decided to bolt. Give them what they ask for because they have earned it and we want them to have it and it will hurt your more financially not to give it to them. If you lose them you will lose a lot of us.
It's really frustrating to watch the wonderful cast of Criminal Minds being gutted in such a nonsensical way. The return of AJ Cook doesn't brighten up the perspective of Paget Brewster not coming back and of Moore and Gibson not being renewed.
I won't watch the show if Paget doesn't come back, but if also Moore and Gibson disappear, it means dooming the show to the collapse.
Nothing CBS has ever done was fair to CM! Ever! CBS does not play fair, CBS does not understand and because of that a lot of people will suffer the consequences. That's why we're here. To try to make CBS understand yet again that this is unacceptable. We were right every single time we pointed out their moronic actions, we're right this time too. We need Thomas Gibson to come back next season, we need Shemar Moore to come back next season, we need this show to have some stability, we need the team feeling back and we need CBS to leave the show alone. We need to stop having to fight these battles every single year. You'd think they got the picture by now.
You saved a lot of money on Sheen this year CBS, how about you give fair contracts to the people who actually deserve it for a change? Sign the guys on decent contracts, bring Paget Brewster back and then just leave the show alone so it can function and make money for you! That should be a no-brainer really!

These are negotiations of course. It's not a tyranny; the actors have some say in the outcome. I hope that TG and SM get what they want, whatever that is, and that the show makers do also, and the fans. A big ask! But realistically actors have to have freedom to move as much as we might want them to stay in the same place for ever and ever.
My plea, if you decide to move on guys, Mr Moore and Mr Gibson, please do it in a way that show has the best chance to continue. Fan feeling is volatile and it would be easy to wreck the show in this time of big transition. Doing things with grace is -- well -- just graceful!

As much as I'd love to say otherwise, I really can't see myself watching Criminal Minds without Thomas Gibson or Shemar Moore. Hotch and Morgan are key characters who have been there from the very beginning, and viewers been through all their troubles with them - especially Hotch, with the Haley storyline and everything. PLEASE don't let them go!!

Some shows are blessed with chemistry among it's actors to deliver a believable & watchable product in the end. Individually, I love all the actors but together, the chemisty of Criminal Minds makes it my top of the list "Must See TV"...so much so, that I watch it on ION TV.
If the chemical compound that built this show disperses, so do I. Many of us do NOT give a rat's backside about 'reality' shows, we love our brains to be challenged. Criminal Minds AND this team, do it for me. No Thomas Gibson AND Shemar Moore, no me.
Bring them all back Thomas Gibson,Shemar Moore,Rachel Nichols,AJ Cook,Joe Mantegna,Kirsten Vangness and Mathew Gray Gubler. That is the only REAL and RIGHT thing to do
No one on the CM cast is expendable. This is even more true for Thomas Gibson and Shemar Moore. Through all the changes the show has gone through, these two have been constants. Please, make sure these two talented actors, who are at the heart of the show are re-signed for season 7 and into the future. I stuck with the show through season six, but I would stop watching if you let either or both of these men go.
Dear CBS, you're currently jeopardizing the best show on American TV. Cutting AJ Cook and Paget Brewster was a major blow and caused us viewers from all around the world to make you feel the consequences. Obviously, you did. Otherwise you wouldn't have brought AJ Cook back and given Paget Brewster an option to return as well. However, doing those two things is not going to cut it if you let go Thomas Gibson, Shemar Moore or both of them. They're just as much the center and heart of the show as the rest of the cast is. Taking them away would mean taking away a major part of the audience as well. You felt our support for the ladies. Rest assured that we're going to do the same for the guys. It's been successful once and we'll make it successful a second time!

I already mentioned how much I adorre this show and will not watch if Tom and Shemar are not back. This is the finest show on TV right now with excellent actors and I would love to say great writers but season six writers were only mediocre. I am happy that AJ is back and I hope that means that the character of Garcia will be back in her office in front of her screens. She does not belong in the field at any time except for the once in a while case where her computer skills are valuable but not in dealing with the public. Her character is not strong enough to handle that type of pressure. That is why we need these strong men who can handle that and be the compassionate people for what is needed. Both the characters are multi-faceted and the actors are the personification of that. They deserve to be given the best contracts possible. I realize that Joe is the lead in the show at highest paid but Tom should be given equal to him because he is not replaceable without destroying the show. Shemar should be the third highest paid because of his strength in the field and that his character is valid for the show. This show is the finest on the CBS schedule right now and deserves better promotion and a better press agent.
The characters of morgan & hotch are truly vital to criminal minds. As with the characters of prentiss & JJ ,the magic of this show is the team. This group despite their own personal pain spend their lives hunting evil and helping others. And with each unsub we have learned more about the team and each member. I believe you heard this message loud & clear from the fans this year! Please keep listening!
Actors/actresses or characters on a tv show are NOT exchangeable or expendable. I think the disaster with AJ/JJ as well as Paget/Prentiss has shown this and by the fact that CBS/ABC rehired AJ and want Paget back tells me they too have seen their mistake. I remain confident that the powers in charge know very well how huge of a mistake it would be to even try and mess with Thomas Gibson/Hotch or Shemar Moore/Morgan.
They are key players of Criminal Minds and have contributed to the show's success from the first day onward. Gibson and Moore have shaped the characters of Hotch and Morgan in their very unique way and made them into two of the most interesting and likeable characters on tv. With their wonderful personalities and their professionalism they are great embassadors to the show. They have made friends with the other cast and crew and thus created the wonderful chemistry we were fortunate to have witnessed for five seasons. Chemistry isn't something you can plan on the drawing-board. It's there or it isn't. If this show's chemistry has been a bit rocky this past season.... well, for the reasons see above. Actors/actresses and characters are not exchangable or expendable. You cannot just get rid of two actresses/characters, two important ingredients to the chemistry, exchange them with one other actress/character and think things will automatically move forward smoothly as though nothing has happened. Sometimes that might work. In this case it didn't. Not for me, and from what I can see not for many other fans and casual viewers either.
I am thrilled and happy that you brought AJ Cook back to restore some of this chemistry. Thanky you for that. And maybe we're lucky and Paget will be back too. But that would be pointless if you lost one or both, Thomas Gibson and Shemar Moore. The whole balance of the team would be unhinged. That loss would be felt deeply. TG/Hotch and SM/Morgan have a huge fanbase and even those who have other favorites do like these two characters and acknowledge their worth and importance for the show. So please do the right thing and give them their contracts.

Please extend Thomas Gibson's and Shemar Moore's contracts. I suspect if it doesn't happen, the massive viewership of this show will leave. Shemar and Thomas have been with the show from the beginning and for me are synonymous with Criminal Minds. Please do the right thing.
I'm sure that Gibson and Moore are not asking for a certain salary per episode that an ex- CBS employee used to command, don't think I need to spell it out for you CBS. You did one good thing, and that was to sign AJ back onto the show. Glad to see somebody with some sense was at the office that day. Hopefully, the person who thought it was a good idea to replace her character with some god awful similar looking character is long gone! What you have got to do with all of your might is get Paget Brewster back on the show. It has been communicated to you in almost every way that she is missed, wanted, and needed on the show. I don't care what you have to do, but start making this wonderful woman all sorts of deals that she will not be able to refuse. That being said, if her pilot gets picked up and she decides to run with that deal, then I will respect that and watch it, meaning, I will not be watching whatever you have that is up against her pilot.
I am livid at the possibility of losing Thomas or Shemar. If that happens, if one of those men is not present come season 7, CBS can just wipe me off their network viewing list and I will find out what ABC Studios is producing and stop watching those productions as well.
No if's, and's, or but's, I want Hotch, Morgan, Garcia, JJ, Rossi, Prentiss and Reid come season 7!!!! If Paget doesn't come back, then I'll live with Hotch, Morgan, JJ, Rossi, Reid and Garcia. I'll be as mad as hell, but I will live with that because those characters are good and make sense for the show. But please do everything you can to get those seven cast mates back together again. I fully aggre with what has been said, many fans of TG and SM would discontinue watching the show if their contracts were not renewed. CBS realised their mistake and it's reprecussions after terminating AJ Cooks job by bringher back,but now Paget Brewster may not come back because she has moved on. Please do not repeat this mistake with ANY other of this shows brilliant actors.
I wonder why CBS is hesitating on signing contracts with Moore and Gibson because they would lose a great deal of loyal viewers. I fear that this show would become a shell of what it is, a great, high drama, unique character interactions/relationships show. CBS has already tried to create a replacement for viewers in the spin-off but it would not be a replacement for me if they took away two of my favourite and important characters.
Okay CBS I'll be honest with you. The only reason I watched CM this season was because of the CAST. I have to say that to me it does not even matter if the storyline is a mess, I'll faithfully watch the show just to watch and listen to this wonderful cast. Also It really hurt me when the GIRLS left,I am so happy AJ is back and I so hope Paget comes back. I mean Paget, Thomas and Shemar are the true profilers here, they are the strongest physically speaking and also personality speaking. These three are the ACTION of the show. If you think about it, Reid is too weak,Rossi is too old, JJ is a princess, so who will do the tough job then?
I can only agree with what has been said over and over again: Criminal Minds without Thomas Gibson and Shemar Moore is not the Criminal Minds that I love. While I find the stories interesting ever week (usually) I keep coming back because of the family that is the entire CM team. Please don't take away an integral part of our favorite TV family!
The loss of Shemar and Thomas would be awful... Hotch and Morgan are the two leaders of the team... It didnt make sense to take out Paget and AJ but it doesnt make even more sense to take out Hotch and Morgan....

Both Mr. Moore and Mr. Gibson bring a completeness to the show, without 'Morgan' Garcia loses her sparkle, without 'Hotch' the team doesn't feel centered.
Criminal Minds SB confirms that this team is perfect and anything else is a cheap substitution for a work of art. We have already been dealt a major blow by ousting Prentiss and JJ (for however short-lived that is) and if more characters are to be lost, this show would be dead to me. This isn't replacing one errant character this is a total upset to the balance of a cast, a set of characters, and a team dynamic.
If more characters are lost on this show and so soon, the show would simply not be worth watching. Thomas Gibson even won awards because his fans see something in his character on Criminal Minds.
Do not destroy the one thing that keeps me home on a Wednesday Night.
CBS needs to figure this out. Criminal minds WILL not be the same with out these two. They are the strong and forward male protectors in a series that is full of creepy unsubs. I would definitely consider not watching this show next season if either of them aren't back.

Criminal Minds has a very devoted following, but without these two actors I know that the number of viewers would drop dramatically. Why do you want to mess with a good thing?? I will never for the life of me understand why they felt the need to come up with the, to me, lame excuse of 'creative decisions'(sorry, am not buying that) to 'fix what ain't broken'. This cast, this 'tv family' had the best chemistry that is rarely achieved on any show. Either it works or it does not, you cannot fake that. As good as the stories are, it is the 'family' of seven you really care about. I just think it is insane for a network to shove in some new people whenever they feel like it and think it makes it ok when a beloved character/characters you have enjoyed for years are gone,because of the so called creative decisions. It changes the whole dynamic of the show, and leaves a huge hole. For me personally as a viewer, I have come to the realization that this show will probably never work for me again anymore without that dynamic that ALL SEVEN brought to the show. It is just not nor will be the same to me unless I see everyone and everything back as it was. That was indeed where the magic is. Or sadly perhaps I should say WAS.
It was not broken, it did not need to be fixed. But now, in my humble opinion, it is thisclose to being permanently broken. For what exactly? Some have sighted Hotch as the 'lead' character.... I don't think he is and I hope CBS sees this. Morgan adds so much to this show alson and has a very diverse character.
I hope you renew both actors' contracts as both characters are important, but for me, there's no way I'll watch without Shemar.
As others have said, this show has been a success because the actors have been a team, the characters have always worked as a team.
Don't make another major mistake by letting Thomas and Shemar get away.
I have to sat that I was dissapointed when AJ Cook and Paget Brewster were fired, but it will be nothing against the way I will feel if the same thing happens with either Shemar Moore or/and Thomas Gibson isn't coming back for another season.
I have to say that there is a very real chance that I will stop watching the show if this happens.
Please sign Thomas Gibson and Shemar Moore to long-term contracts ASAP so that the team can remain intact and retain the chemistry that makes it such a 'must see' show.

He is my favorite character on CM and on TV and I just thinks it’s so sad you never give him any recognition. His episodes are always popular and I don’t get why he’s been underused this season. I hope that changes for Season7 or I will look for another show. No Hotch, No CM for me!
It’s disgusting how you treat Criminal Minds. I’ve hated this season. I watch because I like the team interactions and the character development, especially for my fave Hotch. But he’s barely been around. Hotch brings leadership, stability and an unquantifiable but critical presence. I want way more Hotch. Treat him like the leads in your other shows – give him a raise and let us see much, much, much more of him!

I think this show is about a lot of things but first and foremost it's about family. You can't keep tearing this family apart for god's sake! You broke everybody's hearts last year when you so carelessly dismissed AJ & Paget. Now you're trying to stomp on everybody's hearts again by not having the men come back? How many times do you think you can put Criminal Minds fans through this and get away with it? How many times do you think people will stick around after one of your stunts? How many blows do you think this family can still take before it crumbles to pieces? Get you act together CBS. This show needs Thomas Gibson. This show needs some time to recover from your previous blows.
CBS must renew contract for Thomas Gibson - Hotch is totally central to CM and Thomas' portrayal of the character is intense, complex and draws in the audience to the character. Without him CM would not be the same. CBS please do not mess any further with our show, which has been a huge success for you. Give Thomas his contract, don't diminish his screentime. We want our Unit Chief!!
Thomas and Shemar we can not lose and Rachel is also part of the cast now and the pics at the HWOF is definitely a sign the cast loves her and so should every fan of the show. But everywhere i now look it seems she is getting more and more that support this great girl. And its the way it should be.

I feel the network is *trying* to kill the show. Casting's been all over this season. They'v created a spinoff. They've dropped Paget. They haven't secured Gibson or Shemar.
WHAT IS GOING ON?
One of the best episodes of this show happened in this season -- Because the team was united to save one of their own. "Lauren" made the season for me. JJ was back, the team dynamics were perfect, and they were trying to save Prentiss.
Remember "Revelations"? That episode is generally held to be one of the best, and I think it's for exactly the same reason.
So please, please, CBS, remember what made this show great.
I started watching CM at the suggestion of a friend. Got completely hooked, addicted is a better word. I love the profiling, the team interaction and the great ensemble cast but what really caught my imagination was Thomas Gibson as Hotchner; some interviewers mistakenly call him Hottner, totally understandable in my opinion. This man can act; such a different character from Greg Montgomery. I have hunted down other things he's done and it only proves that given a good part and script he owns his character, as another poster has said he owns Hotch. If you haven't already, get your hands on Love and Human Remains he's so fun to watch in that.
Perhaps in all this these two actors are ready to move on. If they are and find good vehicles for their talents then I say "Good Luck to both of you". I will watch whatever TG is in next season. I selfishly hope it's CM, a well written CM, showcasing the talents of our favorites.

Please have the decency to not treat your valued actors like an expendable commodity. They are consummate professionals who have invested their time and talents to make their characters come alive. It is an affront to them to not give them a contract so they can continue to develop the roles we as fans are so invested in.

God CBS, what the .....! I just learned about this whole contract thing with Thomas and Shemar. Do you think that after the stunt you pulled with AJ and Paget that people are going to sit idly by to see two more characters get dropped, and Hotch and Morgan no less. It is like you are beating the horse to near pulp so that you can then take it out back and shoot it. This season has been largely crap!!!! You want to know why, well, because people who have no damn clue what they are doing decided it would be a great creative decision to drop the JJ character and in her place put something that stinks. This Seaver business is as lower than sub par and I bet is why you got AJ back, thank God. You see, no one is interested in your boring, clone cardboard attempts at creating characters, we want good characters portrayed by good actors and actresses. I sure in hell am not sticking around to see what sorry excuse for a replacement you come up with should you let Thomas or Shemar, I can barely stomach what you going on with this new character. I really don't think I can take more of that character and with Hotch or Morgan not there, I'd rather eat glass. If you have any sense, you'd be drafting up contracts for these guys and begging Paget Brewster to come back.

Thomas Gibson and Shemar Moore are two of the main reasons why Criminal Minds is so successful and I cannot understand why they currently do not have contracts for next season. I believe that the fans have made it clear that we will only support the show if the main characters, which include Thomas, Shemar, Matthew, Joseph, Kirsten, AJ and Paget are on the show. Therefore, I am asking CBS to please tie up these negotiations and finalize the contracts for Thomas and Shemar so EVERYONE can please move forward from the horrible events of this season and look forward to next season.
Criminal Minds has always been entertaining to watch from the day it came out. There is a wonderful relationship between the cast and this chemistry is evident in the show itself. This chemistry is important in making Criminal Minds a wonderful show. So, please keep Thomas Gibson and Shemar Moore. Both are wonderful actors that have important parts. Loosing three actors, all who play important roles, won't be benefiting show.
I just started watching Criminal Minds recently but I am already start to think about not watching it anymore, since I can't imagine the series without Paget Brewster, and I am seriously impressed with the way CBS is handling things. They seem to have no respect for the fans that follow the show and for the actors that do it!!
Can't CBS realize that the show is a hit and there are viewers in all the 5 continents (I am from Brazil, and I have seen comments from people from other countries here as well) that love this show and can not stand what is happening?? :( I hope they sign with Thomas Gibson and Shemar Moore, it is the wisest move to do now! Money certainly is not the problem.
I can't understand why CBS has financial problems. They got rid of Charlie Sheen, didn't they. CBS should be rolling in dough now that they don't have to pay ONE actor $1000000 an episode. They should renew the contracts for Shemar Moore and Thomas Gibson. Anyway with Moore and Gibson, Criminal Minds rock! They are the show. I am afraid if CBS does not renew these two contracts, I will NOT watch the best television show there is!
Why do you tamper with such a consistently high-achieving show?? This season has been awful!!! I have HATED the focus on the unsubs. Not nearly enough Hotch. I love him! He’s the only Unit Chief I’ll ever accept and TG just plays him so well! He deserves an Emmy. Thomas has taken over that show after MP left and its thrived—reward him with a new and improved contract and then we’ll have an awesome 7th season.
Sign a good contract for Thomas Gibson and quit screwing with him and his multitude of fans! We want him back leading our team! Permanently! Less unsub, more Hotch, more team!
NO episodes without a character appearing! They don’t work! I desperately want to know how Hotch is dealing with all the trauma (physical and mental) that happened to him last season. I’m so upset we’ve seen so little of him... CBS, please sign him soon... I don’t want to stress all summer and I won’t watch without him.
Please don't make another mistake! The show has suffered greatly this past season. I only watched a handful of episodes this year, because of how Paget and AJ were treated.
If Thomas and Shemar are dropped, I will not watch at all. I find that the main appeal of the show is how the characters interact and care about each other and how they use their strengths together to solve the crimes.

We love our cast and we want to keep Thomas and Shemar in the show! These men are the backbone and it could never be the same without them. Please make this the best year ever by signing Thomas and Shemar back to the Criminal Minds program. We need to find out more about these characters and what drives them. That would make for some excellent story lines for season 7! Please make it right!
Its incredible to me to think our lead actor, TG, is still without a contract. He is such a class act and a gentleman, both on and off the screen. He is also the reason why I’ve watched CM from day 1 and have stuck with it through the ups and downs. This season has been very weak and lacking hotch. If this is a test to see what the show would be like without TG, it failed. Season6 was brutal and for more reasons than your treatment of the ladies. No TG, no show. Period. Bring him back now!

CBS needs to stop screwing around with the CM cast. This is one of my absolute favorite TV shows, but without its main characters and cast, it would definitely lose that spark that makes it special. It's not just "oh, we're chasing another random unsub again." It's "here's what's going on in the team's development as they go after this unsub." And you just can't have that if you lose most of the team.
Thomas Gibson = classy, fan-friendly, popular, professional, good family man... And yet... and yet you won’t sign him to a contract??? What the bloody hell are you offering? Whatever it is, x100 and you might be close to how valuable this man is to Criminal Minds. Give him Sheen’s salary! Give him more screen-time like the fans are demanding! He is the lead and without him, CM is just bad! Did you SEE the pathetic ’25 to Life’??!!! Horrible! No Hotch No CM 4 me.
Hello. I have been watching CM from the first season and every year the characters have grown and the show has gotten stronger. But this year was extremely disappointing and just plain bad. How can you put your lead, the show’s anchor, to the back? It was stupid and didn’t work at all. CM isn’t CM without Hotch playing a major part. I'm very worried that this will be my final year watching; without Thomas Gibson's "Hotch", I will no longer be a fan. Please know this is not a decision that I take lightly, but it is the right thing to do. Please give this actor a raise and new contract and make sure he returns.
Please bring them back.
Need our men as much as our ladies. Don't compound this year's horrible mistakes. Re-sign TG & SM. Original cast and we want to see all of them all the time. No more funny games. Cheers.
The picture accompanying this post captures another moment of flux in the life of CM - but it's also a moment where order is restored. It's S3 ep 2. Gideon/MP has left and Hotch/Prentiss come back. They pick up the pieces and take the show forward and to greater heights of excellence and a greater depth of characterisation. Give these wonderful guys their due and get on with it, please. Really, CBS, you just won't have CM without Hotch and Morgan. It's just that simple.
Criminal Minds is the only show I watch consistently every week, and has been since season 1.
This show's success really is due to the great work of the entire cast. It is an ensemble. Hotch and Morgan, having been there since the beginning are an essential part of the show.
While the show could be done without them, it would lose a large portion of it'd identity. There would be a loss of chemistry and also of the vast diversity of the cast.
Please keep Thomas Gibson and Shemar Moore! The show will not be the same without them, nor will it be as enjoyable!
The relationship of Morgan and Garcia is one of the sweetest parts of Criminal Minds. It offers not only comic relief, but it softens the often harsh content of the rest of the show.
Shemar Moore not being back for the next season will lose one of the most equalizing parts of the show!
i love the show its beyond amazing & i'm glad that a.j cook is back but with all due respect to CBS the show will never be the same without Shemar & tomas...i love the show since the very begining & the cast is amazing shemar & tomas are 2 of the people that make the show what it is & without them the show will in all honestly not be that good i love the rest of the cast they are amazing but CBS has already replaced aj & paget which sucked coz it turned the show to a mainly guy dominated thing but also replacing shemar & tomas will be a disaster.
i love the show but if they make anymore unwanted changes to the show i will simple stop watching i mean the spin-off is good but it will never beat the original.

I've been a fan of Criminal Minds since it began, and have come to love the characters like they're apart of my family.
Each one of them brings something unique to the table, and they themselves are what have kept me watching faithfully for six years.
I've grown attached to the Morgan character in specific, which initially, Gideon was my favorite, but suffice to say, after what took place between Mandy and the show, I moved on. It didn't affect me that much, although I do miss the fatherly veteran touch that Gideon brought to the team. He looked and felt like a true patriarch. David Rossi helps to kind of fill that void though, in his own special way.
Thomas Gibson, while the Hotch character honestly isn't my favorite of the bunch, is a wonderful actor whose character, whether I like it or not, brings a great deal to the show as the Unit Chief. They all do. They all have their own way of adding to the mix.
Derek Morgan's grown to be the ideal kick a$$, big brother, kindred soul that I'd want to have watching my back if I stupidly ventured into a field of flesh eating zombies. lol.
He's the kinda guy who you could leave your children with, and without a doubt, take solace in the fact that they're in excellent hands, because one of his biggest character traits is that he loves children. He's got a special protective nature when it comes to children, and it's been evident over the years, (i.e. Tyler, Stanly, Ellie)
I love how compassionate he can be with unsubs who have problems beyond their control that cause them to do what they do, and I love even more how livid and heartless he can be to those unsubs who are equally heartless.
He's multi-faceted and carries so many different personalities and faces to fit with whatever time or setting he's in, while at the same time, maintaining a general air of genuineness, and that's just awesome.
His relationship with the epic Penelope Garcia...that bit speaks for itself. LOL. They can try to replicate it, but they will NEVER duplicate or outdo it in my book. I take my smiles whenever I can get em, and those two definitely bring a smile, whether you want to smile or not. LOL.
The kick a$$ nature of him adds to the mold as well, and Erica Messer, I hear has been instrumental in writing some of those episodes where that side rears its head, and I have to tip my hat to her and hope to see more of that, because it helps keep me interested. He seems to be able to kick some major a$$ and not take anyone's crap, but can still come off looking competent and on top of his game, and if it weren't for Shemar Moore pulling that off, ain't no telling what could have come with that character, which is why, him leaving would be a major blow to me, because it's like I keep getting attached to these characters, and them bam, they're gone.
Respectfully speaking, this time, if the character I become attached to leaves, I follow suit.
I wish no ill intentions against the only show I watch on TV, but, to be frank, if Shemar Moore leaves, I won't ever look at another episode of Criminal Minds.
Hello everyone. Thomas and Shemar of the series can be viewed without the CM series is a rare good year, only 20 can do such a thing! Thomas and Shemar if you continue to do it without at least 70% or more fall into the audience I think if anything good was 4 or 5 seasons over then why should it touch? criminal minds is the best show on t.v at the moment and i have watched the show from the season 1 and also have all the dvd's. if thomas gibson and shemar moore are not in season 7 then i will no longer watch it and i know a lot of other fans in the u.k. will feel the same way i do
Hmmm, I love my show dearly but recently I have become a tad tired of logging to twitter to see if I can finally expel my breath and start looking forward to the 7th season. And frankly, with the ups and downs we have experienced recently I think all of us (viewers, actors and everybody involved) deserve a bit better than this.
I am not even sure what you are thinking about, really. No boys, no CM, no CM, no viewership and no ads, no DVDs no nothing. It's that easy. The only thing I can think of that might be worth of pondering in this situation, is how many seasons-contract to sign with them.
I don't want to sound like no boys no CM, because it seems a bit cheap, but to be honest, that's how I feel about the issue. If Hotch walks away...I am following him, because that's how important the character is for me. So sign the boys and do give them some serious stuff to chew on.
I can count good Hotch episodes on the fingers of one hand, what is quite sad, so do something about it. We certainly will be grateful and repay you (and not only with viewership) :))
CBS please do the right thing and give Thomas Gibson and Shemar Moore new contracts asap. Both men are integral to the success of the show and I cannot imagine CM without either of them. I'm thankful that you listened to us and rehired AJ Cook, but that will be futile if we lose either Thomas or Shemar. Please don't make the mistake of underestimating any of the these mens' characters as you did with AJ and Paget.
I am holding out hope that Thomas and Shemar will return next season. Ditto for Paget. I wish her all the best if her for her pilot, and will support her decision no matter what. But please try and get the the cast back to what it used to be, what it was through seasons3-5. It was perfect. Everything made sense. And we got some of the best writing, episodes, and character development in those seasons(3&4).
Please do right by us, and right by the wonderful cast who have worked tirelessly for years at end so that you can have a successful show.

I think I should start sending CBS the bill for my heart/stress medication...and for my hairdresser for that matter. God knows they've given all of us enough gray hairs to last a lifetime. It's ridiculous that they're considering of not signing back one or both men. I'm too speechless right now. They cut the female lead last year and soon came to regret it, now they think they can get away with cutting the male lead? Really? Then they're more ignorant than I thought. If you need money, just cut the spin off. Nobody cares about it anyway. I'm sure the money they pay their lead on the spin would be more than enough to give both these guys a raise. This is the very last time I'm going through something like this. If CBS thnks they can pull this off every year, they're wrong. I for one know that without Hotch I won't watch anymore.

Someone seriously needs to stop smoking the 'whaever the heck you are on' over at that network and get some sense back. This is one of the top shows on the network. I feel a sense of deja vu here!Wasn't it around this time last year we had to buy into the 'creative decision' crap and the whole thing with AJ and Paget? This show was not broken, why try to fix it? Well, fix it now,asap, while you still have anyone interested in watching. Come on CBS, you've been around the block a time or two, you've got to know that without TG and SM your show is going down the gurgler fast. Whoever made the asinine decision to let AJ and PB go really messed up. Please don't mess up again. If you thought the spin off show was going to do better than the original you were wrong there too. Read the messages, nobody likes the spin off. Read the reviews and ratings, nobody is watching the spin off. And seriously, while I'm sure RN is a lovely person she brings absolutely nothing to the show. Unless you plan to do something more substantial with her character let her go. Bringing on the token blonde to replace AJ was pretty transparent and frankly, didn't work. I, like many others here, will no longer watch CM without TG and SM. Getting through season 6 was tough enough with the wishy-washy writing and notable absence of key team members (including the episode without Hotch, unbelievable!). If we can expect more of the same or worse for season 7 I'm done.

Sorry Adam Peterson and whomever else may creep up with regard to Seaver, there is no "coming around" for me and I can safely say for others with this new blonde, bland character CBS decided it was proper to sacrifice two female leads for. Rachel Nichols seems like a nice person, but being a nice person doesn't cut it for this show, and quite frankly, the Seaver character is all types of suck- thanks CBS, f&*%!!!! Not only is this character absymal, and has no chance in heck of doing anything that is credible or worthwhile on the show imo, this character is a symbol of the newtork hubris that says "We know better than the fans. The fans are sheep that will buy into anything we try and shove their way." Well, this fan is not having it!!!! Now Gibson (Hotch) and Moore (Morgan) are being positioned on the network chopping block, ready to be replaced with most probably bland and non- credible versions of their characters that the network will delude itself into believing viewers will eat up like pie. Keep on breaking what never needed fixing CBS because you will soon turn around and find that this show has gone down the crapper because of this stupid decision making. The cast this show had before was incredible!!! Why did you mess with it? You need to get this cast of seven back, then walk away from the show. Back when you barely gave this show a second glance, it had the best writers and a cast that was out of this world!! You got AJ back, great. Need to beg Brewster to come back and pray that she accepts to come back. Right now, right this minute, you need to get the checkbook out and pay these men what you damn well know that they are worth. Keep on making dumb moves CBS because you will not only cause people to stop watching Criminal Minds but stop caring about your network all together. I have watched since the first episode and have bought seasons 1-5.I adore Thomas Gibson and I feel that there is lots they could do with his character. I have seen cast members come and go but im not sure criminal minds would survive another series if the axed these talented actors.
The character has been on for more than 10 episodes and the character is stil not a fit and not worth all of this hassle and back and forth. Time to move on from Project CBS Trying to Shove Ridiculous Characters Down Viewers Throats When Said Ridiculous Characters Were Never Needed In The First Place and time to give the men that play Hotch and Morgan the contracts that they deserve. Don't even think of starting to tape episodes for season 7 without these characters.

It is absolutely ridiculous that Mr. Gibson and Mr. Moore do not yet have contracts. The reason that Criminal Minds is so popular with the fans is because of the family-like chemistry created by the cast. As this season has shown, the show is not the same when the configuration of the cast is destroyed. These actors help to comprise the heart and soul of CM, and I for one will not be watching if they do not return.

Why is it that when a network has a great thing going they feel the need to make a move that would ultimately screw the fans....Have they not heard of "if it ain't broke don't fix it"! I'm sure the numbers speak for themselves, so for once do something to please the fans, do the right thing and renew these extremely talented actor's contracts ASAP!

Criminal Minds DEFINITELY needs TG back. As the central guy / lead, not to mention a fabulous actor (and great tweeter! Lol), he anchors the show. I don’t know why the men are being messed about with, but they need to be signed soon. Then and only then will I get excited about the future of the show. A long time CM watcher & fan here and like many others have articulated it is completely inconceivable to even contemplate a CM without Thomas Gibson & Shemar Moore, both of these actors in their own unique way have brought this show to what it is today, this amazing cast is what truly makes this show what it is … this amazing cast is who we all come back to watch week after week …
CBS it would be good if you could take your fingers out of the CM pie and stop messing up what truly is one of your crown jewels, rather than being intent to bringing this show down, how about supporting this team & this cast for a change and building on what truly is an asset for you … and this asset needs Thomas Gibson & Shemar Moore!!

It is unfortunate that after the entire AJ/Paget debacle that CBS has not realized how essential each main cast member is to the show, and to the viewers. The episodes since AJ (followed by Paget)'s departures have been hard to watch, and I feel that the show as of late has been straying from the premise of profiling in general. Fortunately for CBS and thanks to extremely loyal fans, Criminal Minds has been doing fairly well in the ratings despite the departures of two main characters. However, this is the last straw. Don't count on such high ratings to continue if Shemar or Thomas leave. CBS was fortunate enough to get AJ back. They shouldn't waste this opportunity to repair the damage that has come with splitting one of the closest families on television.

I do not feel good about the photo at the top of the blog today of the cast: everyone looks sad except RN who is probably thrilled to still have a job while the others are concerned that TG and SM may not. Makes me sad to think about it:(
It is not known who has a job other than MGG, KV, JM, and now AJ. TG and SM, no contract (CRAZY!), PB who knows if her pilot will get picked up abd if it doesn't if she will return (Please Paget, come back), and who knows if RN's option to return next season (if the network is smart, it will just write her character off the show and move on from that bad idea).
CBS, fix what you broke into a million pieces. Give TG and SM a fair contract, try with all of your might to get Paget back, and let's please move on from the character you thought was going to be such a great idea and save the day.
CBS, nobody is asking you to perform any miracles, just give two actors who have worked tirelessly to help create Criminal Minds a success a worthy contract. Also, to get Paget back, putting back together again the great cast you shot out of the water. These are things that you broke and should have the responsibility to fix.

I think it is utterly ridiculous that TG and SM have not been finalized yet. CBS, get it together and renew these two men! And yes, Paget please come back!!!
Dear CBS:
There is no Criminal Minds without Shemar Moore & Thomas Gibson. Regardless of financial disputes, these two fine actors have performed above and beyond request or expectation. They are what make the heart of the show. There is much great risk than gain if you lose these two honorable men. Do not gamble the security of this excellent television show for the sake of ego and dollar bills.
Do not be reckless with Shemar Moore or Thomas Gibson. They are loyal and outstanding. Talent like theirs does not come often.
