Criminal Minds: Penelope Garcia (played by Kirsten Vangsness) is the "tech kitten" on Criminal Minds. In the episode "Penelope" we learned the FBI recruited her after she came to their attention as a hacker and we know from the episode "Secrets and Lies" that she's on some "list" the CIA keeps. What do you think Garcia did to come to the attention of both the FBI and the CIA?
Ever seen the movie "Hackers" with ngelina Jolie or "Die Hard 4.0"? I can imagine her hacking into their computers just for the heck of it. And then they found out just how awesome she is and recruited her. I mean come on...Nobody would want to wiork AGAINST her. So you offer her a job and she gets paid for what she does best :)

ReplyDeleteI'm thinking she hacked the government. probably using CrashandBurn as her handle. and then she showed the government the right way to do things....and sniffed out some bad peeps at the same time.

I just assume that if it was a govt. computer system, she hacked it. Even they have no idea how much she got into to.
