I am happy to report that the Criminal Minds Fanatic website is jumping with activity. Over 5,000 comments in less than three weeks and this week we add our non screencap photo album. Thanks to all the moderators who are working so hard. CRIMINAL MINDS: THE SHOW DESERVES TO BE IN "VANITY FAIR"

"Vanity Fair" magazine publishes wonderful multi page articles on both movies and tv shows. Criminal Minds has never been featured or even mentioned for that matter. It was suggested to me that the reason was that Criminal Minds is not a "sexy" show and therefore would never be considered. I understand that in our society sex does sell but I would also like to believe that quality does as well. When I returned home from my trip to the set I sent a group email to my college buddies and asked them to email Vanity Fair and to ask their friends and family to also email them. At last count the group has been responsible for over 100 emails being sent in. Here is the address if you would also like to email the magazine. There is need to send a long email. There is a small form to fill out to send in your comments. CRIMINAL MINDS: "HONOR AMONG THIEVES"

Criminal Minds "Honor Among Thieves" will air on Wednesday April 11, 2007. Elizabeth Prentiss (Kate Jackson), a foreign ambassador and SSA Emily Prentiss' mother, seeks the aid of the BAU when a Russian immigrant is kidnapped and held for ransom. Starring: Mandy Patinkin, Shemar Moore, Thomas Gibson, Matthew Gray Gubler, Paget Brewster, A.J. Cook and Kirsten Vangsness. Written by Aaron Zelman, who was also the Co-Executive Producer of the episode, and directed by Jesus Trevino. I was given this script on my visit to the set and it is brilliant. Aaron Zelman wrote an incredible episode which is no surprise since he has written some of the very best episodes of the series to date: "Poison", "Won't Get Fooled Again", "Machismo" and "Psychodrama". Please trust me when I say that "Honor Among Thieves" is even better.

CRIMINAL MINDS: "NO WAY OUT, PART TWO"

Criminal Minds will air "No Way Out, Part Two" on Wednesday May 16, 2007. This time it's personal when Gideon's (Mandy Patinkin) girlfriend is murdered by his nemesis Frank, an elusive and prolific serial killer. Gideon takes off to hunt Frank without
telling the BAU and the team must profile Gideon as a suspect in order to find them both. Academy Award and Golden Globe winner Keith Carradine reprises his role as the sadistic serial killer, and Golden Globe Award winner Amy Madigan ("Carnivale" ) returns as Jane, the small town outcast who is seduced by the madman. CRIMINAL MINDS: INTERESTING FAN FACTS

When I was on the set of Criminal Minds I had a conversation with Thomas Gibson about the incredible fan base that he and the show has all over the world. He said that he did not realize that it was so extensive. I just checked my site meter and the location of origin for the last 100 visitors and here are the non US cities that I found: Nova Scotia, Taiwan, British Columbia (2 people), Spain, Germany (6 people), Canada (3 people), Argentina, United Kingdom, Brazil, China (2 people), Poland, Malaysia, Korea, Guam, France (3 people) and Hungary. Of course the list changes every hour but I think this one sampling certainly shows that our show is popular all over the globe. :)

CRIMINAL MINDS: MORE PENS HEADING TO KIRSTEN VANGSNESS

Kirsten Vangsness, Garcia on Criminal Minds, should be receiving her second pen shipment in just a few days. I took a picture of some of the many cards that were sent this time to Kirsten and the other stars of the show as well as the pens and trinkets that I am sure she will love. I think I have now received everything I was told was coming to me but if you mailed something in the last few days please let me know and I will wait another day or so. I received packages from England, Germany, France, Nova Scotia and all over the US this time. In the spirit of honesty and full disclosure I must admit that all cards had to be opened and read. This was not done to invade your privacy or edit your thoughts but because everything a celebrity receives has to be checked for security reasons. It was either me opening them or "A" doing it. It is a sad commentary of our times that stalking and such have to even be on a celebrity or network's radar. I do believe at this point we have well stocked Kirsten with pens. I would also like to personally thank everyone who sent me such sweet notes and even gifts. It was not necessary but was honestly appreciated. I would also like to thank "A" at CBS for agreeing to deliver these for us. Enjoy Kirsten. We adore you! :)

The part that I like the most is that the members and the moderators are having fun talking about everything remotely related to the show.
