Criminal Minds: A.J. Cook, JJ on Criminal Minds, was born in Oshawa, Ontario, Canada but that isn't the reason the Canadian National Anthem is posted on the Criminal Minds Fanatic blog. So riddle me this......why is the Canadian National Anthem posted on the Criminal Minds Fanatic blog today? The person who gets closest to the right answer will win a prize. :)
I was going to say that it was the day they began filming for the pilot in Vancouver (not Toronto!).
If that's already been *taken* as an answer, then I'll go with perhaps they are filming on this day currently in Canada somewhere? That'd be totally neat.
I'm going in a different direction than everyone else and guessing it has to do with the election. I know you are a big Hillary Clinton supporter and she didn't have a great week. I think you are taking Em and moving to Canada to escape eight more years of there being a Republican President in control in our country. I frankly am ready to pick my family up and move with you. The idea makes me gag! Lets all move to NS and live in Stacy's city. That could be a real Criminal Minds convention!
I think because JJ has Canadian citizenship, if her baby is born in the US, the baby will have dual citizenship (both US and Canadian). Note the baby in the video. BTW this is what my sister said (Goobgirl).
it's because .... yesterday fellow Canadian Russell Martin who is the catcher of the Los Angeles Dodgers received the Tip O'Neill award ... j/k that's just totally random ... btw The Tip O'Neill Award is an award given out by the Canadian Baseball Hall of Fame to the Canadian baseball player "judged to have excelled in individual achievement and team contribution while adhering to the highest ideals of the game of baseball."
I'm not really sure, but does it have anything to do with this website: http://www.cleanairday.com/ ?
ReplyDeleteToday is Canadian Forces Day
ReplyDeleteI'll give it a crack and say it is because Criminal Minds airs earlier in Canada than the United States.
ReplyDeleteGovernment paid health care?
ReplyDeleteWe have a Queen and you have a Bush????
ReplyDeleteclean air day
ReplyDeleteDid they begin filming the pilot episode on this day? I know it was filmed in Canada...so that would be the flag tie-in.
ReplyDeleteHmm. You've decided to move to Canada because CM airs earlier here? *lol*
ReplyDeletethe pilot was shoot in Toronto!
ReplyDeleteor is it because cm is aired earlier on ctv?
Debbie beat me to saying it!
ReplyDeletewas Kirsten Vangness or Paget Brewster singing the song???

I'll guess and say it's because Matthew Gray Gubler is currently shooting a movie in Canada
ReplyDeleteToday is Canadian Bagel Day!!!!
ReplyDeleteActually, I have no idea. :)
It's been declared National Clean Air Day and we here at CM Fanatic like clean air?
ReplyDeleteI'm gonna say because Slashgirl lives there--along with about a gazillion other CM fans!
ReplyDeleteI think it is a combo of Stacy living there, MGG shooting a movie there, and because the cost of living is cheaper there.
ReplyDeleteWhat I REALLY don't want & hope:
ReplyDeleteA.J. Cook leaves the series?
*hopefully not the right answer*

ReplyDeleteCapt Gerge Vancouver claimed Puget sound for Britain in 1792
ReplyDeletea criminal minds convention there?
ReplyDeleteBecause it's Canada so why not. Everyone else took my answers.
ReplyDeleteThey're moving the CM Production company to Canada to take advantage of the entertainment tax credits offered there.

ReplyDeleteI'm taking a wild guess. Is it the anniversary of the Battle of Stoney Creek?
ReplyDeleteThat is my answer

ReplyDeleteIts not Canada Day. Thats July 1.
Today is June 4, the Canadian national anthem was first sung June 24, 1880. Even though it wasnt proclaimed the national anthem until July 1, 1890.
