CRIMINAL MINDS WRITERS APPRECIATE THEIR FANS!

Criminal Minds: Writers Andrew Wilder, Oanh Ly, and Deb Fisher holding a message for the fans of Criminal Minds. Our writers are so talented and so sweet. Ed, look at Deb holding an apple. Andrew's episode "Lucky" airs tonight. Please remember to watch the episode and then join us in the chat room to discuss it. Hi Oanh! I love the signs. Head in a Box is definately a Criminal Minds staple. Andrew, you're off the hook for the stunt you pulled today. Everyone please remember to follow the Criminal Minds Strike Plan and lets get our writers back in the writers' room. We love them and they love us! :)

  1. Yay for the writers!!! We'll help them get what they deserve....a fair deal!!!

And they know we're behind them!

  2. Her first year on the writing team and she is on a picket line holding a hib sign. It's going to get better Oahn Ly!

  3. Lovely. What a wonderful gesture and they all look lovely. I don't think you can get in trouble for writing the signs since you were not paid to do it. Then again you weren't paid for your work on new media either. We just won't tell.

  4. I'm glad our writers appreciate our efforts - believe it or not, lots of WGA members seem to completely disregard the fans' involvement. Kudos to our writers on the picket line!

  5. Awwww! They crack me up. If I was the network suits, I'd be worried -- all these very creative people with all this time on their hands to get together and think ... you never know what they might come up with!

We love our writers, and we want you back soon!

    ReplyDelete
  6. They can write comedy too. Versatile writing staff. We are lucky to have them.

    ReplyDelete
  7. WOW! I hope they know that we have their backs.

    ReplyDelete
  8. Solidarity all the way around in the CM community. That is the only way. I am still calling.

    ReplyDelete
  9. HIB. I looked twice at the sign to figure out if I was reading that correctly. Awesomely right on target. None violence protest here but we are fighting over a hib. Nobody can put a body piece in a box like our writers.

  10. They need to stay strong! That's for sure but we are strong too. CBS messed with the wrong group of people. We ALL have cell phones.

    ReplyDelete
  11. you crack me up, writers.

i hope you know that we are all 100% behind you on this, and we're doing our part to make sure you get paid for your work.

rock on, and keep up the funny.

  12. It is so nice of them to think of us at a time like this. Truly touching thing to do.

    ReplyDelete
  13. CBS is underestimating the power of a pissed off fan base who all have speed dial and email access.

Big bad mistake. I'll keep dialing till my fingers are ready to fall off and be put in a box (honor among thieves)! Honor Among Fans!

  14. I was looking at this pic thinking about all the great epis they written for us. The least I can do is write some emails.

    ReplyDelete
  15. I am sending three cyber kisses across this new media. One for each of our writers that are holding signs.

    ReplyDelete
  16. We're hitting them in every time zone which is good. For once us fans being all over the world is helping. Thank goodness cbs paid for a voice mail system. They are so cheap. I do feel sorry for the people having to write down our message info. Our group called all night.

  17. 20 years ago we would have had to sit back and just write letters. Now we can help them using the latest technology. Isn't the internet a wonderful place? Not for writers. They make not one cent from the internet use of their hard work. Am I the only person who sees the irony in this?!

    ReplyDelete
  18. I will give up all my reality shows for them. All of them. YES. I watch a few. lol. CBS is going to hear from me today and everyday they are on strike.

    ReplyDelete
  19. They think they can hold out longer than the writers but they never even thought to put fans into the equation. We hold all the cards. I don't have to be a freakin Nielsen family to matter. I matter to the CEO trying to sell his crap to me by buying commercial time. That is who is hearing from me. I am so mad that this season has been jerked over.

  20. the three writers need more signs that say

    sign one- our fans
    sign two- won't be
    sign three- watching

    sign one (backside)- our fans
    sign two (backside)- won't be
    sign three (backside)- buying

  21. XOXOXOXOXOX to everyone associated with the show.

  22. Internet as new media still cracks me up. Internet ads are even on their own network sites. The greedy bastards. cbs.com has a place to send comments. You bet I have flooded them from every computer in this office. Polite but pointed.

    ReplyDelete
  23. I'm so happy that they are enjoying the food we are sending to them. Thank you so much to Kris for enabling us to help out in this way. We met Kris through the internet and this blog. New Media has really enabled us to actively participate. Everyone is absolutely right about that. Absolutely correct everyone!

One day when I am less emotional about it I will tell you all what CBS did when my mother was ill and why I felt the responsibility and desire to be a sponsor of the feed a writer campaign. You all have no true idea of what corporate big wigs think about fans. It would make you all sick to your stomachs to know how truly little they could care about any of us but standing together we are not something to be brushed aside and tsked!

  24. I just called NBC at (818) 777-1000
and the switchboard transfers you to a comment line. I left me name, city and state and told them that I was turning my tv off until the writers strike is over and calling their advertisers to tell them that. Then I passed the phone to a coworker and she did the same thing. I will be having the members of my office do that all day. NBC has a lot of new shows on the air that have been showing promise for the network. I am targeting them!

    ReplyDelete
  25. The more I back up the writers during their strike, the more I really come to love them. You guys are phenomenal. And I love that you guys even, through this time, take a few moments to show that you are hearing us and that we support you.

I really just want to fly up there and give every writer a big personal hug.

    ReplyDelete
  26. Really good writing inspires people to think and imagine. Criminal Minds' writers us inspire to think and to love. We connected with Ed and all of you in a fashion that naturally lends itself to utter devotion.

    ReplyDelete
  27. Don't give because we are fighting very hard to you. The signs are wonderful!

    ReplyDelete
  28. Just called CBS Viewers Hotline
and left a message on the viewers line which is prompt #1. They also give a NY # 212-975-3247. Going to call the head of CBS now and then NY.

    ReplyDelete
  29. Kudos to the CM writers for taking the time to thank the fans and acknowledge the support. Wish we can do more! So hang in there and we're behind you all the way!

    ReplyDelete
  30. WE*LOVE*OUR*WRITERS!

    ReplyDelete
  31. Call any Drs. you have as friends and tell them to let the drug reps that call on them everyday that they will not be prescribing the drugs advertised on the show until they force the networks to give the writers a fair deal.

    ReplyDelete
  32. Coming out of lurking to lend my support.

    ReplyDelete
  33. I've called cbs and nbc all morning.

    ReplyDelete
  34. Walt Disney/ABC network:

818-460-7477 use the prompt for viewers comments

to email them go to abc.com and on the bottom of the page click open the send a message button and then email them.

  35. I called Disney at the main number and asked to be transfered to the writers strike complaint department. I also asked them if they have had many calls. The operators said people have been calling nonstop. We need to call all day. Before she transfered me she told me to have "a magical day" and then she laughed but she transfered me!

    ReplyDelete
  36. The signs are great. Thank you to the writers for thinking about us at such a difficult personal time for them.

    ReplyDelete
  37. CM writers rock & we are with them!

    ReplyDelete
  38. You writers are the stars of the show. Keep up the good fight because we are fighting with you.

    ReplyDelete
  39. We're all going to look at these pictures one day when this aweful strike is over and things go back to normal and laugh and smile at these signs. The writers should all sign them and have them framed and hang them in the writers room when they get back.

    Disney is my target today.

    ReplyDelete
  40. We are behind our writers 100%. I'm glad that during this hard time they are at least able to have a sense of humor. I'm rooting for them.

    Lee

    ReplyDelete
  41. I stand with the writers 100% and cbs, nbc, abc and merck have all been told that today.

    ReplyDelete
  42. CBS is going to hear from me three times. One for each of those thoughtful signs. I have been emailing the ads but I can switch gears!

    ReplyDelete
  43. 100% support for the three angels holding the signs from all of us in Norway!

    ReplyDelete
  44. Body part in a box! Drink!

Or, better yet, send water to the striking writers....

    ReplyDelete
  45. I'm not going to be able to get the image of AW being forced to strike and being so under appreciated out of my mind when I watch tonight. CBS should rot in hell and burn.

    ReplyDelete
  46. Only creative people could do those signs. If they fine her for writing the sign I will pay the fine. I know she was kidding but I am not.

    ReplyDelete
  47. Lovely!

    I'm all over this issue.

    ReplyDelete
  48. HIB...lol.

Calling everyone I can think of.

    ReplyDelete
  49. You are all wonderful. You work the line and we'll work the phones. We really do have your backs.

    ReplyDelete
  50. Way to show the love! I am going to copy the new idea and start a boycott of I-Tunes. They should have a easy to find #!

    ReplyDelete
  51. Only the best and brightest write for CM!

    ReplyDelete
  52. Glad to see the writers are retaining a sense of humour.

    Best wishes to all.

    ReplyDelete
  53. Kisses from Korea!

    ReplyDelete
  54. My family loves CM and we are telling everyone.

    ReplyDelete
  55. I made tons of calls today. We think you all are really great.

    ReplyDelete
  56. Crack me up. Great signs.

    ReplyDelete
  57. CM fans stay united.

    ReplyDelete
  58. I'm working the phones too!

    ReplyDelete
  59. Hit them hard everyone! CBS sucks lemons.

    ReplyDelete
  60. Everyone at school called at lunch break. We called CBS.

    ReplyDelete
  61. I just want to reach through the computer screen and hug you all. Such talented young people. I was on a strike in PA in 1965 and I know it is no fun. I've sent a check for your staff.

    ReplyDelete
  62. You are the heart of CM and Disney has no soul. We stand with the angels against the mouse from hell.

    ReplyDelete
  63. Writers rule and fans have phones.

    ReplyDelete
  64. Very nice of the three of you. When this strike is over I hope you never have to hold any type of sign again.

    ReplyDelete
  65. We have open storylines and I don't think BIG LES can write the endings to them so he needs to get off of his wallet quickly.

    ReplyDelete
  66. Team CM has been through other challenges and we grew stronger because of it and we'll do that again now.

    Pony up the bucks CBS!

    ReplyDelete
  67. No money for new media means cbs makes no money from old media. Chew on that you greedy suckers at the networks.

    ReplyDelete
  68. Major support from me and everyone I know!

    ReplyDelete
  69. I don't know if this is the place these questions, but....

    is the 818 number free?

are there links to the networks to email them?

Sorry I can't send anything. I'm struggling too. but is there a plan to "fade to black"? I mean, I think that if the fans chose a day to complete turn off there TV sets, don't yawl think that would send a message to the networks? No local TV, No Cable TV.

    ReplyDelete
  70. Someone said that Oahn is a new writer but we had one from her last season. It was awesome. I'm confused. Did she leave and come back?

    The signs are awesome.

    ReplyDelete
  71. Oanh had a freelance episode from last season. 'Distress' This season she was made the "staff writer."

    ReplyDelete
  72. This just proves we have the best writers out there.

Head in a box--gotta love it!

Thank you to the writers, not just for this, but for all the wonderful CM stories you've given us--and that I hope you get to give us again SOON!

    ReplyDelete
  73. Good writing is a tv show. Great writing is Criminal Minds. Best writers working today.

    ReplyDelete
  74. best writers NOT working today.

    ReplyDelete
  75. It was surreal to me to think that while I was watching an Andrew Wilder episode he was on striking. I made a couple dozen calls yesterday but I am going to double that today.

By the way Blog Owner. I just found this blog and it is incredible. Well done. I will pass the link.

    ReplyDelete
  76. Anonymous is right. The writers are not working. I have been calling CBS all morning but now that private number goes right to VM. Is that a good sign or bad?

    ReplyDelete
  77. Aww thaT IS SO SWEET OF THEM! the signs are so cute we love you guys!!!

    ReplyDelete
  78. CM writers are so....amazing! I can't even think of a strong enough word to use to describe them. Their signs were great. Loved Deb's :)

    ReplyDelete
  79. This gesture truly is touching and makes me that much madder that they are being so royally screwed by the networks. Horrible.

    ReplyDelete
  80. YO WRITTERS YOU ALL SO DESERVE IT. YOU WRITTERS GIVE US THE COLLEST EPISODES SO THEY BETTER GIVE YOU THE MONEY SOON OR ALOT MORE PEOPLE ARE GOING TO BE MAD!!!!!!!!!
