CRIMINAL MINDS: SIMON MIRREN & KRIS CAMPBELL.

Criminal Minds: Simon Mirren, writer of "The Fox", "Riding the Lightning", "Secrets & Lies", "P911", "No Way Out" and "No Way Out, Two" and Co-Executive Producer of Criminal Minds with Kris Campbell, extra in "North Mammon" and "Honor Among Thieves" on the Writers Strike picket line. Every day that goes by without the writers getting a contract moves us one day closer to not being able to salvage the third season of Criminal Minds. Simon Mirren doesn't belong on a picket line. Nobody does. He belongs at his desk writing new wonderful episodes of Criminal Minds. Please take a moment to sign this petition.

  15. How many days does it take them to write a script? What have we lost so far if they were to settle really soon?

    I will go sign.

    Poor dears.

  17. Hey everyone,

I got the chance to meet some of the writers for the first time today. They are all such wonderful and down to earth people.

It was completely my pleasure to deliver the food on behalf of ALL OF YOU earlier today. I made sure they knew the food came directly from the blogger fans and I could really tell it lifted their spirits. Let's keep our support going strong!

  18. Thanks to Kris for taking them the food. I bet that is not the way in which he wanted to meet Simon.

    I'll go sign.

Could you try to find out the answer to the question about how long it takes to write an episode, please, so we know how far behind they really are.

  19. Thanks Kris. You're an angel to do it for us. I sure do hope it lifted their spirits. Talented people like them beating the pavement. I'm sure this is not what any of them expected when they started out in the business.

  20. DOne. I did a lot today. We need to keep it up. Emails are really easy and I titled all mine as "Urgent Problem" so maybe someone will read them.

Okay. I have emailed and called. I have mailed a check for the crew. I signed the petition. What else can I do? The thought of losing S-3 makes me sick!

  34. I made 10 calls already this morning to networks and to advertisers. The advertisers were hard because the operators were so confused as to why I was calling in but I did make sure to get transfered to someone.

Thanks Kris. You rock. It's your future too that they are fighting for.

  35. Signed and sealed. Ready to move on to the next "Give me my Reid Back" task!

  36. My husband thinks I've lost my mind sending all these emails. If this effected Football he would be taking the computer with him to the bathroom to keep emailing.

    ReplyDelete
  37. I'm going now and thanks Kris.

  38. If this strike is lengthy then I think we will lose all of season three and maybe some cast and crew. I can't see how these people can stay not working while the writers strike. Of course if it had not been the writers then sag would have called a strike when it was their contract turn. We were headed to a bad place in time regardless who took us there.

  39. Did it last night but forgot to come back here and post.

    Sucks.

  45. The strike makes me sick to my stomach. Corporate greed has sunken to a new low. I am spending the next few hours emailing.

    ReplyDelete
  46. Emailing next. I will also go sign the petition.

    ReplyDelete
  47. I just called NBC and the main number went to voice mail. Do you think they have closed down their main switchboard so fans won't call?

    ReplyDelete
  48. I tucked some bucks in a letter for the fund today.

    ReplyDelete
  49. I emailed the strike list to everyone I know. I am working on my emails now and hope to make calls in awhile. I hope the writers are okay.

    ReplyDelete
  50. I am so proud of Kris for assisting and supporting the writers. This is an awesome unity among all these wonderful writers, actors and future actors.
