CRIMINAL MINDS: SIMON MIRREN & KRIS CAMPBELL.
Criminal Minds: Simon Mirren, writer of "The Fox", "Riding the Lightning", "Secrets & Lies", "P911", "No Way Out" and "No Way Out, Two" and Co-Executive Producer of Criminal Minds with Kris Campbell, extra in "North Mammon" and "Honor Among Thieves" on the Writers Strike picket line. Every day that goes by without the writers getting a contract moves us one day closer to not being able to salvage the third season of Criminal Minds. Simon Mirren doesn't belong on a picket line. Nobody does. He belongs at his desk writing new wonderful episodes of Criminal Minds. Please take a moment to sign this petition.

ReplyDeleteOn my way.
ReplyDeleteI couldn't get mine to go through. I bookmarked it and I will try in tomorrow.
ReplyDeleteMine went through fine. It does take a sec to finish.
ReplyDeleteDone!!
ReplyDeleteHow many new ones are there that are ready to go? I hate this strike. I will never look at Mickey Mouse the same way again. Down with the Mouse. I'll go sign the petition now that I have vented.
ReplyDeleteLook at our writers. They are not only talented but beautiful.
ReplyDeleteI signed this afternoon when you emailed it to me.
The whole thing is surreal. I don't remember the other writers strikes. I guess I never cared. This is bad. I hope it is over soon. I did send emails and call today. I will do more tomorrow.
ReplyDeleteKrissssss! Look at Krissss!
ReplyDeleteOMG who ever thought we would see Simon Mirren on a freakin picket!
I did it earlier also when you emailed. Now I can put faces to the names of our writers. Thanks.
ReplyDeleteI made a couple of calls and sent a slew of emails. Copy and paste!
Done and emailed.
ReplyDeleteI had to leave messages because all I got were answering machines but I did tell them what I wanted.
ReplyDeleteHow many days does it take them to write a script? What have we lost so far if they were to settle really soon?
ReplyDeleteI will go sign.
I hope they liked the food!
ReplyDeletePoor dears.
Hey everyone,
ReplyDeleteI got the chance to meet some of the writers for the first time today. They are all such wonderful and down to earth people.
It was completely my pleasure to deliver the food on behalf of ALL OF YOU earlier today. I made sure they knew the food came directly from the blogger fans and I could really tell it lifted their spirits. Let's keep our support going strong!
Thanks to Kris for taking them the food. I bet that is not the way in which he wanted to meet Simon.
ReplyDeleteI'll go sign.
Could you try to find out the answer to the question about how long it takes to write an episode, please, so we know how far behind they really are.
Thanks Kris. You're an angel to do it for us. I sure do hope it lifted their spirits. Talented people like them beating the pavement. I'm sure this is not what any of them expected when they started out in the business.
ReplyDeleteDOne. I did a lot today. We need to keep it up. Emails are really easy and I titled all mine as "Urgent Problem" so maybe someone will read them.
ReplyDeleteDid it. I'll take the link to work with me.
ReplyDeleteThanks Kris. I feel terrible that there isn't more we can do.
ReplyDeleteJill, I have a check ready to mail in the morning on my way to work. I hope it helps someone who needs it.
Signed.
ReplyDeleteits amazing what you people in the usa do to support the writers!! i think thats amazing!
ReplyDelete(and im glad i can read your blog and being up to date here in europe :)
Count me in too on whatever I can do. I will go sign this.
ReplyDeleteWhat can people living outside of the US do to help? Will they listen to our emails as well as yours?
ReplyDeletedo anything to help
ReplyDeleteThank you, Kris!
ReplyDeleteSigned the petition days ago. Now that things are saner at work, I'll start sending e-mails and making calls.
I'm going to go sign & fashion together an email to send right now.
ReplyDeleteLovely seeing Kris with Simon and I agree that it is certainly not under the circumstances that we were all hoping for.
ReplyDeleteI signed this morning.
Hi Kris! Hi Simon!
ReplyDeleteOkay. I have emailed and called. I have mailed a check for the crew. I signed the petition. What else can I do? The thought of losing S-3 makes me sick!
signed it
ReplyDeleteDid it. Hi to Kris. Thanks Kris.
ReplyDeleteIf this strike goes on will we lose the show?
ReplyDeleteDone.
ReplyDeleteHugs to Kris!
I made 10 calls already this morning to networks and to advertisers. The advertisers were hard because the operators were so confused as to why I was calling in but I did make sure to get transfered to someone.
ReplyDeleteThanks Kris. You rock. It's your future too that they are fighting for.
Signed and sealed. Ready to move on to the next "Give me my Reid Back" task!
ReplyDeleteHappy to Help.
ReplyDeleteMy husband thinks I've lost my mind sending all these emails. If this effected Football he would be taking the computer with him to the bathroom to keep emailing.
ReplyDeleteI'm going now and thanks Kris.
ReplyDeleteIf this strike is lengthy then I think we will lose all of season three and maybe some cast and crew. I can't see how these people can stay not working while the writers strike. Of course if it had not been the writers then sag would have called a strike when it was their contract turn. We were headed to a bad place in time regardless who took us there.
ReplyDeleteDid it last night but forgot to come back here and post.
ReplyDeleteWonderful advice. Thanks.
ReplyDeleteI'm helping!
ReplyDeleteI added my support.
ReplyDeleteDid anyone read the article today that said the networks are scrambling to churn out quick reality shows?
ReplyDeleteSucks.
I canceled my son't itunes account. I canceled my credit card on it. No more downloads.
ReplyDeleteI'll do it now Jill.
ReplyDeleteThe strike makes me sick to my stomach. Corporate greed has sunken to a new low. I am spending the next few hours emailing.
ReplyDeleteEmailing next. I will also go sign the petition.
ReplyDeleteI just called NBC and the main number went to voice mail. Do you think they have closed down their main switchboard so fans won't call?
ReplyDeleteI tucked some bucks in a letter for the fund today.
ReplyDeleteI emailed the strike list to everyone I know. I am working on my emails now and hope to make calls in awhile. I hope the writers are okay.
ReplyDeleteI am so proud of Kris for assisting and supporting the writers. This is an awesome unity among all these wonderful writers, actors and future actors.
ReplyDeleteJill,
ReplyDeleteYou raised an incredible young man. I feel priviledged to know him.
The other Jill in his life!
Where are you emailing? What is the address?
ReplyDeleteI also signed! Going to e-mail now!
ReplyDeleteKeep your spirits up! Wish I could help more!
