CRIMINAL MINDS: SCOTT DAVID & CASTING QUESTIONS

Scott David, Casting Director for Criminal Minds, has graciously taken some time out of his very busy schedule today to start answering the casting questions that have been posted on the Criminal Minds Fanatic website. If your question has not been answered yet please understand that this man is incredibly busy on the set and he will get to them as his schedule permits. Thank you to Scott for sharing with us some of your insights and experience regarding this fascinating side of the production process. :)

  1. I haven't posted my questions yet. Is is too late? I meant to do it a few days ago.

  2. I'm sure there's time; so far, I'm the only person whose questions have been answered (and I'm very happy about it) because I was the first one to post them. Since he's probably going in order of posting, you should be fine.

  3. Allie: I would go ahead and post your questions. He is probably so swamped busy at work that it may take him time to answer all the questions that have been asked already. I am going to add my questions too. This is freakin awesome of him to do for us. Thank you Jill for arranging this for us and to Scott for doing this.

I read his answers to your questions. You asked some really good ones. I am trying to make my list now. I want to know more about the sequence of events and am having a hard time expressing myself.

  9. CM rocks and CBS rocks. I have never seen any other network be so nice to the fans of their shows.

I will register and add my questions when I get home from work. I have just been lurking around the website. Thanks for all of this.

  10. I think it's so generous of Scott to do this. He's helped me so mich already, and now he's willing to help everyone else understand how things work from a different perspective. Is there anything Scott David can't do??? lol

  11. Just another great example of the vast kindness of all the folks that take part in making CM what it is.

And to think, my friends and family think I'm nuts for being so attached (to the extent that I stole the remote and TV, and refused to begin our party night last Thurs so I could watch the REPEAT of Profiler, Profiled.......my friend did my hair while I was watching...haha).....they don't know what they are missing. *sigh*

  24. Thanks Scott and please do us one more favor. A joke on Gina. Walk up to her and gently poke her on the stomach and tell her that the poke is from her friends on the blog. Thanks.
