  1. I Love Her!!!
There is nothing more to say for me other than I LOVE HER!!!
She is great! I think that JJ is a very important part of the team as well as Garcia and A.J. has done such a great job playing her.

    Again, Love her!

  2. You're right, she's great.

Normally I don't like the blondes (and actually can't tell why, but it turned out in my "TV series watching career"), but I make an exception when it comes up to JJ - she is smart , funny and does a great job within the team.

As well does AJ performing her!

  3. I absolutely LOVE JJ! She's such an awesome character and brings so much to the show, as well as everyone else! She portrays a tough, intelligent woman who is very successful in a male-dominated workplace, which I think is very important. She's not your typical "dumb blonde" used to set up jokes and be ridiculed. She's very confident and from what I can tell, gets along well with the other characters. There's not much else that I can say other than I love the character and I love AJ- she's so pretty and seems like a real sweetheart! :)

  4. JJ is awesome--I love her interactions with the other characters, her smarts, the way she can get *anybody* going.

Her job is manipulating people, and she's very good at it, and it's interesting how definitely she draws the line at her team-mates. The way she turns around and shoots Hotch those looks when she's just wrapped somebody around her finger is awesome.

I would kill to know what she and Hotch talked about before she went into the interview room with him and Jacob in "Riding the Lightning."

Because I'm pretty sure that JJ, like Reid, cheats at cards.

Also, I love her friendship with Garcia. It's fabulous to see female characters on TV who are smart and funny and have relationships with each other. They seem to me more like real women than most of the characters I'm used to seeing.

  5. At first, I thought J.J. was kind of flat, except maybe as Reid's future honey. But she's smart, capable and seemingly not afraid of anyone -- Bear mentioned the way she helps Hotch manipulate Jacob in "Riding the Lightning." She has a very flexible role as a person, too; most of the time she seems like one of the "kids," goofing around with Garcia, or telling fake scary stories to Morgan, or ruffling Reid's hair. And she practically salutes when Gideon addresses her. But I like the way Hotch tends to lean on her and she becomes another team member instead of just the one who goes out to fend off the media. I just re-watched "North Mammon," and I love the scene at the end between her and Hotch. He's relaxed and comfortable with her, and she teases him and gets away with it! And I agree with Bear that the conspiratorial looks are wonderful :) And the way she takes charge to get the case picked up, and then gets Polly to identify the guy in spite of her obvious trauma... J.J. is fantastic. The first time, though, that I saw an episode and thought how cool she was was in "Revelations." She's being destroyed by guilt and visions of evil dogs, and she holds it together for the sake of the team and the search for Reid. I think they need a woman on the team with grit in her soul and nerves of steel, and I think since Elle left, J.J.'s done a lot towards picking up that role.

  6. JJ is so awesome. In the first season she was sort of hidden behind Elle but since Elle left she has really come into her own. She's funny and down to earth. She's a normal human being with flaws (as we saw in Revelations) but she pulled herself together for the team. I also think that she does manipulate ppl as part of her job and she does it very well...it might be some clues about her past but she is AWESOME!

  7. It took me awhile to appreciate JJ. North Mammon was really the beginning for me in understanding her role within the unit. I like her character now even though she doesn't get much airtime.

  8. As stated with Garica:

JJ is love!!! ^_^ The character ROCKS!!! She's fun, feisty, and fits in with the BAU like no other.

  9. I have to agree with some others that in the beginning I viewed her as he token pretty girl but she has show herself to be compassionate and capable. Her role in dealing with the families and the media is actually a very hard job. I like her.

  10. I am learning over time to really like JJ. I never didn't like her. I just really did not see what purpose she served. Mammon helped me to really see her and I think AJ did a great job in that one.

  11. It's funny how some people where thinking that JJ was not important to the show...And I'm glad that a lot of you changed your mind. I was starting to feel alone on the whole JJ topic... Then again I'm a faithful A.J./J.J. follower! lol

  12. I LOVE HER!!!
I am so glad she has been getting a lot more screen time this season, she is just too amazing.
Smart, funny, talented, kick ass and absolutely beautiful. Everything an amazing actress should be.
I can't wait to see more of her.
And Props to being a fellow Canadian!

  13. Just love JJ! I think she's a fantastic addition to the team, just the type of person to round out an otherwise shadowed group of people. After Revelations she'll have her own demons to battle, but I was wondering if she had any past issues that we would soon learn about. I like how she's been more active in the show lately and hope to see more of her around.

A beautiful gal, wonderful actress, and Canadian to boot (coming from a fellow Canadian).

  14. Yeah North Mammon did it for me too. I like the character now. I get her role and she does a good job.

  15. Cook does a good job with the lines they give her. They need to give her more. In general I like the character. Removed from the total horror but still a part of it but able to deal with the media. That has to be a difficult job.

  16. She really does need a bigger part. Sometimes she is barely in an episode.

  17. Not much I can say that the others haven't. I love JJ and think AJ does a phenomenal job playing her. I hope to see her role expanded.

  18. JJ rocks, she's the glue that holds the team together. She previews the cases, deals with the press, watches the media, and manipulates in the best way possible.

North Mammon is where we first see how much she does for the team, and in a way, I think it's the first time the team does as well. This is so much the way it is in reality. How often do we ignore the person who's always there, always organizing, always cleaning up when we're done?

I just loved in The Big Game, when Hotch wanted in the files, he got nowhere and was getting nowhere, so he turns around and just looks to JJ, "you're up," and she hits it out of the park.

I think we're going to see her take a more active role after Revelations. I may be wrong but I think Jones is the first time we've seen her at the crime scene, looking at the body, wearing the gloves with the rest of the team. And she didn't balk when the N.O. cop (I can't remember his name) borrowed her hand to examine the victim's hand - part of her decision to be tougher.

I thought it was so funny when the N.O. cop told her she must not lie much, that's her job, but really in a way I think he's right, she doesn't - work is different from life. It's her job to get what the team needs, and lying and flirting are just weapons in her armory, but to lie to a friend, she's too honest. (Although, Bear's right, I wouldn't put it past her to cheat at cards on occasion.)

  19. I am really glad that the character of JJ has been developed. She didn't seem to do an awful lot to start with, but has really grown, especially as season 2 has continued.

I loved her freaking the boys out in The Boogeyman and also how she handles both Gideon and Hotch.

  20. I think JJ needs to officially become a profiler. She has proven in several episodes that she has a real talent for it, and she seems to enjoy the work.

I think her character is great. I'm happy they're expanded her role to more than public relations, because she is a great asset to the profiling side of the team.

  21. I really like her caring nature.

  22. JJ reminds me a lot of myself. (Dont know why, but she does) I think she is great, and love her character.

  23. I definitely agree with leonada002
I want JJ to become a profiler too!
She needs to become one soon!!
But I still love what She does tho...

  24. I have liked her from day one. She is less intense then the rest of them and the scenes with her and Garcia are great.

  25. In the beginning I could not figure out what she was there for but now she is just so part of the team it would seem weird if she wasn't there.

  26. JJ is awesome. it's easy to underestimate her based upon her looks, but she is able to take charge in almost any situation. if the direct approach doesn't work, she is not beneath sneaking in through the side door. I think JJ has a lot of insecurities, though, and I think most people miss this. she is basically deciding who to help and who to tell 'no'. I can't imagine the kind of pressure this must bring. for this, I really admire JJ. she is just amazing.

  27. I just love JJ character from the beginning, because she's not a profiler, she choose not to be a profiler and yet she has an important role to the team. But I'm agree with most of you guys who said JJ's first big break was on North Mammon. I'd like to see her character developed, she doesn't have to become a profiler but contributes more on every case they handled.

As in for AJ Cook, she plays JJ character very well. One of the reason I watch Criminal Minds is because I'm a fan of AJ Cook. And I'm glad she has done an absolutely amazing work on this show.

  28. JJ definitely is the heart of the show. I'm very happy her character has evolved, hopefully it'll continue evolving. I'd like to see JJ puts the FBI vest on and pulls her gun out more often.

  29. I love JJ... One, because she's not a profiler... i just mean i like that she thinks differently from the profiler.. kinda adds a little something to the team.

I like that she's developed throughout the series, starting off with North Mammon.

I must say, this girl is tough. I mean with all the stuff she has to deal with, she always seems calm. The show hasn't really depicted her not being able to handle her emotions... as much as it makes her tough.. it kinda seems unrealistic in a way... I mean she does double the work the profilers do -- she picks the cases and is present in crime scenes; also, now she must have some 'dog issues' since Revelations.

At one point, i think she's going to break down...

I'm a big AJ/JJ fan and will always be ;)
