I agree with allie, if they do have to do the drug addict story line, please, let them catch him out early on and get it dealt with. I really don't want the remainder of the season to be overshadowed by it. *sigh*
But I'm sure whatever they do with it, MGG will turn in a fabulous performance!
There are a lot of ways the story could go. I see on the tv.com site the episode on the 21st has everyone on the team becoming suspicious of his behavior.
Considering that he went through in a few days most of the things Gideon went through I his whole career I bet he has some substantial issues to deal with.
Great acting job on MGG’s part.
And thanks Jill for the site, I decided to stop lurking.
I think the writers are too sharp to drag it out too long. They realize that one of the best things about the episodes is is that they are self contained. Not like Lost in which you have to make a lifetime commitment.
I have been thinking about it since the last show and I think it is going to be intense but quick. The show doesn't let things hang. In Elle's case it was quick and she has not been mentioned again but MGG is not leaving the show so I think we will see a fairly quick resolution to the storyline and then we can move on.
Hi! I've been lurking at this blog for a while, buy decided to post. =).I went to the forums at TV.COM and the person talked about the episode for tomorrow! I honestly thought she was playing, but I guess no one can't make that stuff up. So the people in Canada are freaken lucky.lol.
Diane: Yes, we Canadians will be getting CM on Tuesday nights, probably from now until the end of the season. It's because different Cdn networks pick up shows from all the major US broadcasters; CTV also carries American Idol and since it is one of the highest rated shows, they're not going to move it from it's time slot. And we're just lucky that they've picked an earlier night rather than a later one.
The same thing happened last year when Idol started up. Yes, sometimes it DOES pay to live in the Great White North. *g*
I don't think that the probable drug addiction will be drawn out too long, it kind of goes against the normal flow of the show. However, it will be interesting to see how this progresses!
LOL...I dub this photo strip "the many haircuts of MGG".
I honestly think this whole thing will eventually lead around to Reid's almost inevitable schizophrenia. this could end up being a very interesting story line, though.
I hope they do not turn him into a drug addict. A small quick problem I could handle but a long drawn out thing would be hard to take.
ReplyDeleteHe was so wonderful in Revelations.

ReplyDeleteI just cannot stand the thought of Reid being screwed up on drugs. Hurts my heart.
ReplyDeleteHurts my feelings too. :(

ReplyDeleteCanada rules no matter which way you look at it. Now its even better!
ReplyDeleteLee :)
Hehe, you're lucky. I hope the episode had SOME Reid tidbits. ;)
ReplyDeleteUnfair export. MGG is home grown American beef and we should get first dibs on him and the show.
ReplyDeleteI hope someone is submitting a tape from last week's episode for award consideration.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pics!
ReplyDeleteI'm glad we got spoilers from Stacy. It makes me feel a little less queasy about things. I am anxious for my boy!
Is it me or is this man just yummy!
ReplyDeleteVery yummy indeed. You could spread him with a spoon!
ReplyDeleteWhatever it is he will act it brilliantly.
ReplyDeleteI cannot imagine how this will be in the episodes.
ReplyDeleteLots of good character development!
