I have just finished boxing up all the pens and gifts that I have received so far. I did take pictures and I will post them tomorrow but I had to post this pic of the socks for Matthew Gray Gubler. Everyone sent wonderful pens, cards and gifts but one fan knit MGG socks. I think that is just about the coolest thing I have ever seen and this picture doesn't begin to do them justice. :)
Jill, I'm glad you enjoy them so much! lol. Lets hope The Gube does half as much! I think i really ought to knit you a pair! It would be no trouble at all! I like making socks, they're special!
ReplyDeletethey are great - I'm sure he'll love them.
ReplyDeleteLiz: I got your package today. :)
ReplyDeleteWow those are great. Thank you so much for pulling this all together for us. I imagine it was a bunch of work but I really appreciate it. The actors work so hard to give us such a good show and this was a small way for us to show our appreciation. Thanks again.
ReplyDeleteThose are awesome! When you said they didn't match, I thought you meant they didn't match a little bit -- these are outrageously fun!
ReplyDeleteThose look fantastic!! They also look like they'd keep your feet nice and toast warm! I think I'm jealous *G* (I often have cold feet).
ReplyDeleteWhat great socks! And they look so professionally done!
ReplyDeleteJill, did you get my cards? Shoulda come today....
I think we had so much fun doing this. I would never have expected that pen shopping good be this great.
ReplyDeleteWhere are you sending the items. I have something I am trying to send to Shemar Moore but I'm not sure where to send it, and help would be appreciated.
ReplyDeleteValerie: I am sorry that you didn't choose to participate with our project. I guess you could send yours to the studio but I can't guarantee he will receive them. If you would like to send them to me I can send them myself but not with this shipment. The boxes are already finished. Sorry. :)
ReplyDeleteI love those socks, they're great. I think Matthew is going to love them. It would be really cool if he wore them on screen, of course we'd never know. I always check out his socks when they show his feet, especially on the DVD now that my son showed me how to work the zoom function on the remote.

AMAZING!!! Simply AMAZING!!!
ReplyDeleteLee :)
I hope Thomas liked the golf bear. It is a retired beannie and took me forever to hunt down. I thought he might like it for his kids.
ReplyDeleteYou know, I have to comment again on this. Not only are those fantastically creative..but they are SO well done. Just HUGE Kudos to this person.
ReplyDeleteLee :)
Jill, if you get this message, as I know you're backed up....
ReplyDeleteBut did you get my cards??? [hopping from foot to foot]
Jan: I did receive them and they are incredibly creative and very sweet. :)
ReplyDeleteReally special. I bet he loves them. I hope Kirsten likes her pens and cards.
ReplyDeleteJill - wow! I am so excited by that! Hurrah for the beautiful and lovely postal service of the U S of A.
ReplyDeleteI sent you an email as well, just in case.
And I love those socks. Does the knitter take orders?
The first thought comes to my mind is: They're two pairs. *wait* Then I think:"Who wants the same celebration every year?...It means everything is different BECOZ OF YOU!" So...they're a pair!^^
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to see all the other pictures of the pens and gifts. This was fun. Thanks.
ReplyDeleteThe socks are beautiful and a lovely way to say thank you to MGG for his great work!
ReplyDeleteThanks again, Jill for coordinating this effort and for giving up a portion of your home to house all these goodies before sending them off!
The socks are really great... (I know how to knit, but never tried socks as it is REALLY difficult.)
ReplyDelete@Jill - I wonder if you receive my envelope from Germany on time??

When I was sending the rhino for Shemar my son kept wanting to play with it so we went to the store and bought him his own.
ReplyDeleteKiller socks. Cool.
ReplyDeleteThe socks are awesom - I can knit, but never tried socks...I stick to scarves and hats! LOL! Anyway, things have been crazy, I'm sorry I wasnt able to participate, but keep us posted if you plan something like this again :) Great job Jill!!
ReplyDeleteCool socks! They look great! MMG is going to be surprised!
ReplyDeleteI think they're great - thekind of idea you sit there and say to yourself 'Wish I'd thought of that!'
ReplyDeleteI joined too late to contribute anything this time, but hopefully next time...
do you think he'll wear them on the show?
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to hear what he thought of the socks and other gifts!
ReplyDeletesuch cute socks
ReplyDeleteAdorable.
ReplyDeleteI really have the urge to learn knitting just so I can do that for him. I think he'd love that from any fan.
