I am new to the show and the only season one episodes I will have seen are these repeat ones so I am really glad. Thank you B.J. for emailing me about Shemar. I appreciate Jill for forwarding you my email and you for answering my questions. Are you ladies always this nice to newbies? Everyone here on the blog is so friendly. I am going to join the yahoo group if you will have me.
Monica: We bite on Friday mornings and Sunday nights but every other time we try to be sweet and friendly. Welcome to the fold. Pull up a chair and enjoy the show with us. I am happy BJ was able to answer your questions for you. I only became aware of Shemar and his amazing talent from this show. He is really talented and I am going to make it my business to see some of his previous work. As BJ probably told you she has been a fan of his for a very long time. :)
I am new as well. And I am a M also. We could be the M & M s of the blog Monica. I want to see it also since I have not already.
Tuesday CM?! Yes, yes, yes!
As long as I've been with this group, they've always been wonderfully friendly. There is one important exception. Do NOT try to call or otherwise communicate with any of us while the show is actually airing. We get a bit ... what's the word ... irritable? :-)
I'm glad you found us -- welcome aboard!
Lin: True story..a few months back my boss called at night during the show. I answered the cell phone without looking at the phone number and said "What?". No I basically yelled "What?". The conversation went something like this:
What?
It's B.
Can I call you back?
I just have a quick question.
What?
Blah, blah, blah
B: I am really sorry but I am going to have to call you back. I have a situation at home right now.
Someone intertupting CM constitutes a situation, right? :)
Empty Planet is a great episode. I am lovin having two a week. I wish it could always be like this.
Wow that is great to have two episodes one day after another. Who do we have to bribe to have the show on everyday?
Cool. I will tune in.
I love repeats. Even if I am not home to watch them it is nice to tape them and then have a little bonus to watch at another time.
I loved the scene with Morgan not leaving her in the car. Man that was emotional. He was so good in the scene. And Gideon at the end telling praising him without getting mushy. The look on Morgan's face to know that Gideon respected him was priceless.
I'm so happy this is on! It's one of the eps I taped that the tape malfunctioned on -- thought I'd have to wait until summer!
I loved that closing scene too. Good episode.
I would happily sit all day with a bomb under my car if Morgan would hug me.
That actress will remember that hugging for the rest of her life. Go Shemar! Way to hug a woman!
I echo all your comments about how nice everyone on the blog and yahoo group are. It has been such a wonderful experience from day one.
I am really glad Empty Planet is showing on Tuesday and we get a new episode on Wednesday--it will be an early birthday present for me (my BD is next weekend)!
Hurray. A chance to finally tape this one.
This is a really good one.
Shemar was really good in this episode and you all are so right when you say lucky lady because I would die dead on the street if I got to be hugged like that by him.
i just got into Cm this year. "Empty Planet" was the first show i saw. i loved it and i cant wait to see it.
It really was a great episode. "What he said I said I said". Loved the look on Reid's face when he was outted for telling Gideon what Morgan had said and the look of pride on Morgan's face when Gideon admited to saying it.
Empty Planet is a great episode.
I really enjoyed this episode and am happy to watch it again. I thought Morgan was great.
They pay extras but I would have paid to be the actress in this scene.
This was one of the first eps I watched which hooked me on CM. Also, I will never forget it because the car that Gideon ordered to blow-up was a WHITE LEXUS LIKE MINE...!!! I nearly had a coronary when I watched it. I mean, I'm glad the lady got out okay, but..MY WHITE LEXUS??? And, I'm having a panic attack thinking about it right now...OH,OH!!! (deep breaths)
That should be a question on the fourm...
What situation would you put yourself in to get face time with Shemar Moore?
Bomb in the car... without blinking an eye.
Maybe it could be a Mastercard Commercial
Bomb making materials $100
White Lexus $more than I'll ever had
Hug from Derek Morgan ... priceless
Great comments, Liz! Actually our used 1992 Lexus isn't worth much (still good looking and smooth compared to our "rebuilt" other barely-functioning vehicle!). Shemar's hug would definitely be worth more than "the car"...!!!! Good, good, good question.
I really enjoyed watching "Empty Planet" again, and since I taped it, I watched it again and again! Morgan is great in this episode and I have to agree with all the comments that I would also GLADLY sit in a car with a bomb if Shemar would hold my hand, stare into my eyes, and tell me "You're gonna be fine". With that fine man holding you, all is definitely right with the world!
awesome epi
Okay, I'm trying to play this "Back Down Memory Lane Game" so I hope I'm doing this right.
Here is my comment:
I liked this episode because I thought that it was so heroic how Morgan stayed with the lady who had the bomb under her car.
SweetThang #1
I loved that scene from that picture. Morgan is not one to give up, is he?
