CRIMINAL MINDS: NO WAY OUT

Incredible Criminal Minds episode last night. "No Way Out" which focused on Jason Gideon (Mandy Patinkin) and guest star Keith Carradine was awesome. Thanks to catty lizzie for the screencap.

  1. This honestly was not one of my favorites..it felt "different" and I have a hard time with different. The actors did an amazing job though! I wonder if we look, if we will find out it was written by someone new?

  2. Was part of what bothered you that the story was mostly in flash-backs? It was distracting/annoying, I'll admit. Good story, but not as well told as it could have been. I understand why they told it that way -- it hit the dramatic moments right at the right time -- but it was a little too -- obvious?

Oh, but the actors were wonderful. And have I mentioned yet how good Reid looked? (grin)

  3. I enjoyed the episode and wish I could have been in the chat last night. I was planning on it but my son is still sick so I was lucky just to have had the time to watch the show. I thought MP was great.

  4. I usually agree with Linn but I liked the flashbacks. I wish that there had more of Reid. All in all a strong episode.

  6. I'm 2/3 through editing the caps. I keep having to mop up drool! *g*

I kind of love having a slideshow of just that one, though.

I really loved this one, but I think there are plot problems that I simply didn't notice. I was so happy to have so much screen time for Gideon that I might have been the least bit distracted.

  7. I really liked the ep, and although I agree it was a bit choppy (heh) and disconnected, I followed it okay. I have no problem with the ep being so Gideon (and somewhat Morgan) focused. In an ensemble drama like CM, I love to see indivisual characters highlighted occasionally. And we were past due for a Gideon story!

I think the twist of the psycho killer believing that he's actually in love with someone was unique. And the windchimes! OMG! I'll take flowers and chocolates, Dr. Reid, thank you very much! LOL

  8. Two seasoned awesome actors going head to head with each other. No wonder it was such a fantastic episode. Two of the best in one episode. Great casting.

  10. I so never needed to see what was in that bag that Keith Carradine's character had.

  11. I liked this, but it creeped me out on a whole new level of weird! I mean, this is teh Dad from 'Complete Savages', I don't wanna see him as some scary, mutant, psycho!
