  1. Reid is so cute and I felt so bad for him when he went to see his mom and could not interact with her at first.

  2. So sad the effect seeing his mom like she was in this scene had on Reid. Matthew did a great job of showing the emotional side of Reid in this scene.

  3. I was shocked when we got to see him with his mother. He really was just so sweet. These were wonderful scenes between them.

  4. It's probably true that Reid's seeing the differences between the woman who raised him and who she is now and finding it difficult to relate now. But I also wonder when the onset of Mom's schizophrenia occurred. It usually starts fairly young in life. If she had Spencer at 25 (wild guess), she'd have been 37 whe he finished high school. Well within the norm for onset of the illness.

Was her ability to relate and function impaired while Reid was still living at home? When he was a child in Vegas? Did he take care of her when he was a young child? Did he get stuck in Vegas public schools b/c of the need to take care of his mom?

And what the he** happened to his father? And who was he?

    I want to knooooooow!

  8. I like that they showed everyone's vacations. it helped a lot with the character development, especially Reid's little scene in the hospital with his mother.
