CRIMINAL MINDS: KIRSTEN VANGSNESS AT CBS SUMMER PRESS TOUR


They have finally added Kirsten to the CBS Criminal Minds Website. Here is what they have to say about our Garcia:

"In the L.A. theater community and as a performance artist, Vangsness' work has garnered her the 15 Minutes of Fem Best Actress Award, the Los Angeles Drama Critics Award for Best Emerging Comic Actress and the coveted Golden Betty Award. Her written work has appeared in the Los Angeles Times Magazine. She is a member of Theatre of NOTE in Hollywood, California.

Vangsness was born and raised in Pasadena and currently resides in Long Beach, California. Her birth date is July 7."

  2. I agree with you Callie. It took me a few episodes to appreciate her but now I can't imagine the show without her. She is a wonderful character and a gifted actress. :)

  4. I am like you and it took me a minute to like the character of Garcia but now I think she is perfect. I love the interaction with Derek Morgan.

  14. you know, I just don't think they'd have a show without her. I think someone realized at the beginning, quite wisely, that a show with such serious subject matter needed a bit of comic relief to keep the audience from getting bummed out by the second episode...and that is right where our beloved Garcia comes in.
