Criminal Minds: Lori is hosting a contest in the Kirsten Vangsness Yahoo Group:
Hello everyone. In honor of the Criminal Minds season opener on
September 26th, we are going to have a Kirsten Contest! Here are
the rules:
1. Watch the season premiere on September 26th (Tape, TiVo, and/or
DVR, it too, for good measure!)
2. Listen for the comments Kirsten makes on the phone, such
as "Oracle of Quantico", or comments she makes to Morgan or the
other agents, such as "Sweet Cheeks", "Junior G-Man", etc. Then
check the KVYahoo Group for a message from me.
3. I will post 3 of the comments Garcia makes in the season 3
premiere. Two of them will be correct and the other will be an
incorrect comment. (Let's all hope she has at least 3 comments in
the episode! LOL)
4. Your job will be to decide which comment is incorrect and post
the incorrect comment on the KVYahoo group. You will have until
noon eastern time on Sunday, September 29th to make your post.
PLEASE ONLY ENTER ONE TIME.
5. All those with correct answers will be eligible to win. I
will make a list of all those with correct answers and draw the name
of that person out of a hat (or bag, whatever is handy).
6. If you are not a member of the KV Yahoo Group by the time of the
Season 3 Premiere, you will not be eligible to enter the contest.

Oh, and the prize! A signed photograph from Kirsten Vangsness and a
Garcia Goodie Basket! Good luck everyone and if you have any questions, post them and I will answer your questions.

Criminal Minds: Ed Bernero has provided us with a wonderful Criminal Minds autographed script of "Revelations" to use as a contest prize. Tonight our much awaited new season of Criminal Minds starts. After "Doubt" airs I will post a spoiler post. The post will accept comments for one week. All eligible comments must be at least 20 words long and contain one detail from the actual episode. There is already a number typed on the script itself. Whoever posts that number's comment wins. It is acceptable to comment more than once but the comments must have actual substance or be in response to someone else's comment and also be at least 20 words long. THE CRIMINAL MINDS FANATIC BLOG CELEBRATES BY GIVING AWAY A CRIMINAL MINDS SCRIPT!

Criminal Minds: One year ago today I started this Criminal Minds blog. The blog has so many people who contribute in hundreds of ways. Thank you to everyone for their participation. On October 2nd the season two Criminal Minds DVDs will be released and I am very proud that our blog and website are included in the featurettes.

To celebrate this blog-versary Ed Bernero sent us a script last month for Criminal Minds "Legacy". The script has a number already printed on the cover and the person who leaves a comment on this post that matches that number wins the script. Tomorrow everyone will also have the opportunity of winning a "Revelations" script. Thank you to Ed for his generousity and appreciation for the fans of Criminal Minds.

CRIMINAL MINDS: GIVING IN HONOR OF A MAN WHO GIVES US SO MUCH.

Criminal Minds: Since December of 2006 several Criminal Minds fans including myself have pooled money and sent the National Multiple Sclerosis Society a monthly donation in honor of Shemar Moore's mother. Allie mailed another donation in for us this morning and I am happy to report that we just topped the $5,000 mark. I would encourage anyone who prefers individual giving instead of group donations to check this important website and to honor Shemar's contribution to the best show on tv by contributing.

Criminal Minds: Great news for Criminal Minds fans. Here is a link to an article "Inside the Criminal Minds" by Nic Wegener, writer's assistant for Criminal Minds. I would also like to point out to everyone that Nic is a wonderfully gifted comic. I had the priviledge of actually seeing him perform and YouTube has some great videos of his stand up shows. If you are in the LA area I would highly recommend going to see Nic perform. You won't be disappointed.

CRIMINAL MINDS: NO WAY OUT II HAD AWESOME GUEST STARS....AGAIN!

Criminal Minds: In addition to a wonderful regular cast, Criminal Minds always has great guest stars. In No Way Out II, we had four of them return to the show: Keith Carradine (Frank), Amy Madigan (Jane), Amanda Bernero (Rebecca Bryant) and Elle Fanning (Tracy Belle). It will be interesting to see who turns up as a guest star on Criminal Minds next season.

Criminal Minds: CBS posted this great Penelope Garcia, played by Kirsten Vangsness, You Tube. Garcia is my favorite character on Criminal Minds since we lost Gideon. :)

CRIMINAL MINDS: CHANDLER CANTERBURY PRESS RELEASE

Criminal Minds Guest Star: Chandler Canterbury is a 3rd grader and he studies violin. He enjoys baseball, basketball and a good steak.

Chandler broke out into the entertainment industry with his first feature film last October shot in Austin, Texas called Gary the Tennis Coach along side of his brother, Colby, and starring Seann William Scott and Houston’s own Randy Quaid (set to be released Spring of 2008). From there he has taken Hollywood by storm with supporting roles in The Curious Case of Benjamin Button (Warner Brothers/Paramount Pictures starring Brad Pitt and Cate Blanchett – release of November 26, 2008) and Powder Blue (starring Forest Whitaker, Jessica Biel, Ray Liotta, Kris Kristofferson and Houston’s own Patrick Swayze – release of 2008).

Chandler had the wonderful opportunity to film this guest starring role in Criminal Minds in August of this year and work some of the best in the industry including Gordon Clapp (Emmy award winner for NYPD Blue), Eddie Cibrian (Vanished, Invasion, Third Watch and Sunset Beach) and the series regulars, Thomas Gibson, Shemar Moore, Matthew Gray Gubler, A.J Cook, and Paget Brewster. The episode is directed by Edward Allen Bernero and written by Chris Mundy.

In October, Chandler will travel to Toronto to film Universal Picture’s Sci-Fi thriller The Repossession Mambo along side of Jude Law and Forest Whitaker.

There are not many 8 year olds that can say they have played Brad Pitt, been kissed by Cate Blanchett, had Jessica Biel cry over them, gone to heaven with Ray Liotta, and have been trained to hold a real gun!!

Chandler is represented by A+ Actors of Texas in Houston and CESD and 1 Management in Los Angeles.

CRIMINAL MINDS & THE EMMY AWARDS

Criminal Minds has never been nominated for an Emmy but this evening the show was at least mentioned. Joe Mantegna was introduced as the new star of Criminal Minds. That is the closest we have gotten to actually being recognized by the Academy. On a happy note, Helen Mirren, Simon Mirren's aunt, won an Emmy. Next year is our year. :)
